I got this when it was on offer and it was a great deal (~£37). I would like to buy it again but there are many other whiskies I would like to try around the £60 price range, if I spotted it for £45 or under I would probably be tempted. But that would still approximately buy me an ardbeg, laphroaig, port charlotte 10, laguvlin 16 or so many other good whiskies. So even at a lower price it does not stand out much above the others apart from being cask strength. With some whiskies I find they work good on the rocks, others with water. This one I found was better with water as it brought the flavour out (though I am mostly used to stronger islay flavours).

I've only got into Whisky in the last couple of years, but i'm now well into it now and have an obsession with trying new variations. Glenlivet Founders Reserve wss one of the first i really liked. Yes, 've seen reviews online scathing it, but I couldn't care less, whisky is subjective much like anything that comes to taste. No one should tell you what's good, what's not. I loved the taste, the sweetness, the flavour. It was that that made me various types of Glenlivet - this being one of them. The Nadurra is in a different league to any other Whisky I've yet come across it is staggering. It's not weak, and not one I'd advise drinking a lot of, but my word its worth the money. A very special drink.

Very nice cask strength whisky at a very attractive price. Adding Highland Spring water in a ratio: two parts whisky to one part water brings it down to the conventional 40% ABV and makes the 70cl bottle equivalent of a bit more than a litre of normal strength whisky. That's 42 standard 25ml servings - so yet again, 42 really is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.

This is one of my favourites as it’s been played around with least though some of the other flavour expressions are also worth a try. Does need a drop (or two) of water to get the most out of it.

Beautiful whisky, a great representation of Glenlivet. Make sure you don't leave a less then half the content of the bottle undrunk for a long time as it tends to go stale.

On my tick off list of whiskies to try, did not disappoint. One of a few whiskies I've tried that I enjoyed more with a small drop of spring water.

I love this whisky. It's one of my favourite. It's ask strength so it packs a punch but it's deceptively light - almost floral - and quite lemony.

I like my whisky neat and I took it neat! But I enjoyed it with sparkling water too. Great flavour!
