Beautiful color (grey/silver); I actually like the "stepped down" (meaning obviously not real silver or quality hardware) silver knob and handles - they are shiny and pretty. Have a clean untarnished look. And work fine. Looks nice on the counter. I love the small size- for a single senior lady it's just the right size and small enough to handle easily- not too heavy nor clumsy like family size models. It cleans great in the dishwasher. Cooks as expected- made a nice stew for one with some leftovers. Comes with recipe book. Can't think of anything I dont like - excellent value!

I am quite pleased with this cooker. It has an "automatic" setting, which starts cooking on hot and then changes to a cooler settings. I didn't have that on my old cooker. At 1.5 litres it's a nice size for 1 person. My only gripe is that it's difficult to see the current temperature setting. There are no indicators to show the current setting. You have to look at the position of the control knob. This doesn't have an obvious mark on it, so that you would see where it's at. There is only a thin raised line, which is virtually invisible unless you look very closely.

Bought for the campervan - works brilliantly. Mainly wanted it for ability to prepare all ingredients and then set going while on a 5-8 hour walk. Found some recipes great for this, and they work perfectly. The settings for low (about 4-5 hours) and high (around 8 hours) are set just right to cook food in those times from scratch. Use condensed soups and cook in sauces to increase flavour, although plain stock works well too. Needs very little liquid as the cooker retains this and all flavours. Can't think why we've waited 40 years to buy one!

Used this recently, very pleased with it, chicken and vegetables cooked beautifully. I have still got to get to grips with the amount of fluid I use, but the taste is very good. Would definitely recommend. I found no problems with knobs, that had been recorded on reviews, I think if you treat equipment with respect you shouldn’t have a problem. Very easy to clean. It is a lovely size for me!, and would be alright for two, but they do make bigger sizes and if you have a family or like big portions, you should purchase a bigger size.

This is great for cooking meals for one person. I can just about fit a 4 sausage casserole for two hungry people in it. If you are regularly cooking for two or want to batch cook, go up a size. I’ve decided that it’s too small for me so I’m keeping this one for the dog’s dinners and buying the 3.5 litre for myself.I have never had anything stick to it. It cleans nicely including the lid. Also, I’m not exactly sure why so many people had an issue with the knob. It’s fine for me. Maybe they have improved it since those reviews.

Perfect! I don’t understand the bad reviews. It’s a great little slow cooker and does as it is supposed to. It’s easy to clean and I got the smallest size which is perfect for 1-2 people but in all honesty it could do 3 people!!Haven’t had a problem with the dial like others have mentioned, could be because I’m gentle with these types of things and they probably weren’t.I also really like the design. I got the light grey colour and it matches with our kitchen lovely <3

My last Swan slow cooker gave me great service for more than 20 years before finally giving up . So I purchased this replacement from Swan knowing it would give good service . I tend to use the slow cooker for soups , stews , slow-roasted chicken and fruit puddings ; this " Retro " model is a reminder of days gone by ( I'm 90 years of age now ) and I'm very pleased with it and would highly recommend it .

It cooks beautifully, I've made casseroles and curry so far. The slightly negative part is that as I first turned it on, the knob fell off, ( it is broken where the shaft fits ) so I have to use pliers to control it. This, in my opinion, is a tiny problem. I love it and will use it a lot, no problem. Joshua

absolutely fantastic fast delivery cook book and instructions I have all swam items in my kitchen and have been very happy. I would highly recommend buying from this seller you will be very happy with your items it's just a shame the bin and coffee maker is so expensive as this will complete my kitchen ?

I prepare the food then at the appropriate time set it going. When I come home my meal is ready! If I am tired I don't have to start to cook. Brilliant for 1 or 2 people. I even prepare a lot of dishes and then freeze them in batches. So, some days I don't even have to prepare the dishes.

i wanted to have a small slow cooker. many slow cookers on the market are huge which won't fit in kitchen. finally i found this one which is perfect fit for what i need. i only used it for few weeks so still not sure how long will it last. anyway, i am happy with my purchase.

Absolutely fantastic product. It has been used lot's since I purchased it. It really is a such a nice well designed product. It looks lovely sitting on the kitchen worktop.I would most definitely stand by my word and recommend this product 100 %

This is one of the nicest slow cookers on the market. It looks good it's a great size and the auto button is brilliant no more having to remember to change the temperature settings. I would reccomend this and I am going to buy one for my friend

Great little slow cooker perfect for 2. Will serve 4 but difficult to stir without spilling over. 1.5 l volume. Great little recipe booklet too. Auto function means no need to worry about timings as it reverts to low mode after 4 hours.

I absolutely loved the Retro Design and warm cream color. It was well packaged. It arrived in its brand new condition, no dents, complete. It is working great. The container is quite heavy. It is not difficult to operate as well.
