We’ve been using a 3 litre slow cooker for a while now, which has been brilliant but we wanted a bigger one to cope with larger meals. Narrowed down my purchase to this one and used it to cook a beef stew on Saturday and then a lamb joint on Sunday! Both came out brilliantly! I started them off on high for about an hour and then turned them down to low for another 6-7 hours so it takes time but well worth it and as you just leave it to cook, it’s no problem! There is a very strong plastic smell when it’s cooking but it’s new so I guess that will wear off and we couldn’t taste anything in the food as it’s probably the outer shell. The only thing I don’t like is that as the outer shell weighs almost nothing,

Loving the slow cooker but must admit I found the sizing a little confusing. How large is 6.5 litre exactly? May I suggest that the photo of the slow cooker could be accompanied by an object to "scale it". Maybe, for example a West Highland Terrier. Usually pretty standard in size, a Westie photographed sitting in the slow cooker would indeed allow the customer to judge the capacity of the slow cooker. It comfortably holds my Shoodle dog but as this is a non standard breed it would probably not be of much use to other customers.

Looks smart, works brilliantly. Cooking from frozen by autosensor is a bonus feature over my previous [35 year old] slo-cooker. Only concern is the thin nature of the red outer walls, I am terrified of dents and knocks - I fear that even a vigorous wipe with a cleaning cloth will cause it to cave in. Treating it with kid gloves - and have re-arranged my kitchen cupboards so that I can store it out of harms way, rather than on the worktop where I feared it would be vulnerable to collisions with cutlery and crockery.

I am only an occasional user of a slow cooker and only use this for full sized family meals. It is a big beast and lives under the stairs so think carefully if storage space is an issue. It will quite easily cook a large leg of lamb with vegetables. The ceramic pot lifts straight out and is very easy to clean. Just seeing the results from this one prompted my sceptical friend to invest in a smaller one for herself.

I bought this to replace a slow cooker. I put all the ingredients in and put it on low and left it for 10 1/2 hours. The meat was tough, the vegetables crunchy so I reckon next time I must put it on auto and cook for 10 hours or leave it for at least 12 hours on low. So it is slower at cooking than other slow cookers.It is a good size and looks nice in metallic red.

Purchased this slow cooker on the advice of a friend , it works very well and am very pleased with it. Cooked a large chicken for 7 hours and it turned out excellent I've also cooked brisket beef on slow cook and it was like butter, would recommend this particular one because it's a bargain for the price, cooks very well and uses very little electricity.

It does what it says on the tin. It is easy to use. I made a stew in it and the taste of all the ingredients was great. The system is large enough to cope with enough for twelve or more servings so that some can be frozen and enjoyed on another day. My slow cooker is one of the most necessary utensils in my kitchen.

Hi I purchased this for my better half who incidentally can't boil an egg and he now cooks lovely meals for us both wasn't particularly enamored with his curry but hey ho happy days and believe me if he can use it anyone can and the beef, pork and brisket that he has done along with the veg are so tender.

Easy to use. Plug in set your dial and let the slo cookerDo the work.Meat very tender. Used twice now. Once for pork and once forBeef. Delicious. Perfect for cheaper cuts of meat.Purchased by me and my daughter. Both had great results.Easy to clean. Would definitely recommend.

Heats up quickly. Large capacity will fit in a medium size whole chicken. Lovely red to. Only down side is the heat dial needs to be a bit clearer to see, the marking of the settings need a white marking on it to see what setting it’s on. Other than that I’m happy with my purchase

Excellent product, great colour (red) wanted a red one to match our other kitchen equipment, fantastic delivery came in a couple of days, very efficient, easy to use. Using it at the moment for a nice chicken casserole. Very happy with our product.

I am absolutely delighted with this slow cooker. It looks really expensive and I just can't believe how cheap it was for such a good quality item. The metallic finish is expensive looking. Buy it...you'll be amazed at the quality of this product.

Having worked in kitchens over many years I would not do without this in my home kitchen it's great, throw everything in and go to work come back and your meal is ready soups, casserole's slow bake this is a must have for any kitchen

Thank you for the lovely slow cooker. Unfortunately it arrived with a rather large chip on the bottom of the ceramic pot. I have sent a photo with this e-mail. Very disappointed about this as it is a wedding anniversary gift.

this is the most used cooking thing what we use nowadays: put everything in, do other housework and after some time all is cooked and you only need one pot and not wash up 1 Mio. things. Easy to handle and super cheap
