Just do not expect a high quality cable. It is a thin made cable, it feels like it's gonna break in a minute or two. In fact, right out of the box, the cable made crackling noises, like the plastic waited under the sun way too long and became rigid, and fragile.I plugged it to my Iphone6s and macbook, which is a very picky combination, and the cable does work at the moment (both for charging and data). But I feel like this cable will not last in the car for a few weeks.

I bought this to put in my car to power my iPhone without having a great mass of cables all over the dash. Unfortunately it was slightly too short for the job - It really is very short. I know use it to charge my iPhone at night, it's great because I used to keep smashing the charging cable in the door of my bedside table this is so short that there is little danger of that happening again. But other than that it is hard to imagine a use for so short a cable.

I needed a cable for charging next to our sofa and couldn't have a standard length one as it would get ravalled up, but also needed some flex unlike the short stubby lightning cables you can buy - this has fit the bill perfectly. Generally have found Startech products to be excellent quality and value for money over the years and this cable is no exception.

Second cable I tried for fitting between phone and charger on my motorbike. I really like this one. My phone is mounted on the yoke and the charge on the frame for ease of access. Therefore I need a bit of slack when turning corners. The fact that this one is coiled is perfect as it always remains neat and no risk of fouling loose cable.

Bought this charger because of the coiled cable as I needed something shortish but not too short.This fits the bill. It sits neatly hidden behind the charging unit of our alarm clock but can be extended by pulling it forward to whatever length we require it in order to place our phones on the bed side table. Would recommend. Very useful

This lightning connector its made to a very High standard not like apple flimsy, short in length,and break, you won't be disappointed and it charges quicker then apple connector, this connector is worth every penny, this was my first purchase from this company,since then i have bought 2 more for family and they also was very impressed,

Good quality cable with solid connectors and doesn't give any compatibility messages with my iPhone.Cable is very tightly coiled though and difficult to stretch out, wanting to return to it's fully coiled state all the time. Ideally I should have bought the longer version.

The items arrived quickly and as described. I travel a lot and have found these to be of enormous value. Their relatively small size and coiled nature make them much easier to take in a bag than the regular lightening connector. Also they look neater when plugged in.

Great for using with a portable charger to minimise loose cable as there would be if using a standard length lightning cable (0.9m?). Also useful to keep phone charged in the car if mounted to a phone holder and you have a free USB port on your radio.

As third party lightening charging cables for the iphone go this is the best I've ever purchased. Never has it triggered the 'accessory not supported' message on my phone which has always been a concern when purchasing third party charging cables.

It worksThat's all I required from this cable and it delivers. Something that can charge my iPhone / iPad.Amazing how many on the market do not work at all, but rest assured, this does. And a fraction the cost of original Apple.BARGAIN !

I can’t blame the product. It is 2ft if you were to extent the coilI (like some) would nievely think there’s two feet available when it’s still coiledGood product but the product title and the perceived expectation might not be the same

It's a charging cable that charges...Not that impressed by the quality of the cable though and the coils are tight - I was expecting it to be easily extendable and to recoil up but it isn't as elastic as that.Nice packaging though!

I bought this to use with a DJI Inspire 1 controller to connect my iPad to the controller and it works great. I also use it with a portable battery pack and because of the size it keeps everything compact. A great bit of kit.

I've bought cheap short cables for the car in the past & they usually break after 3 days. This one seems to be doing the trick! Seems more hard wearing & well built. They have a 2 year guarantee so we'll see if I need it!
