I bought this for my 7month old Labrador puppy. The everlasting treat (though not everlasting) did keep her occupied for 15/20 mins a couple of times per day for a week. I monitored the sessions and removed it when she started to chew the toy instead of the treat. I have had to buy another for my older dog who has taken to it after not being at all interested in chewing or treat toys for years.I have bought replacement treats and I have also used the plastic pack that they come in to make chicken stock flavoured ice cubes that fit perfectly into the bento ball (fit them in upside down, it's easier and lasts longer.) Keeps them busy and cool on a hot afternoon, only lasts about 10mins but it's a cheap treat and a bit of a change.Have also put a large biscuit bone in the under side, that took them a while to work out too.

1st day we got these, 1 for each of our dogs it kept them going from about 4pm and had to take it off them for going to bed at 11p, our refil seems to be doing a bit longer as its a different flavour they may not like quite as much.2 yorkie crosses and have no problems with durability or lack thereof- they haven't really tried to chew the plastic though. will agree the plastic does smell a bit funky when you open the packet but either this has lessened or havent really been actively sniffing the thing as I dont notice it anymore.only negative is my oldest boy has started to exhibit some resource guarding towards our other dog, agressive growlng etc which will need to be knocked on the head.although i suppose it means he really really likes it!

I liked the size and versatility of the Bento Ball with its different surface textures and the two openings for different treats. I was a bit disappointed with the everlasting treat which wasn't very long lasting! My dogs were enthusiastic about it and worked hard to chew it. They prised it out of the hole quicker than I thought they would and soon it was gone. However, I will try another one and supervise them better so that they have limited times to play with it and eventually enjoy it for longer. The other thing I would like to know is what is in the treat? One of my dogs has a sensitive stomach so it would help to know whether the ingredients are suitable for him or not.

So the Bento ball has a biscuit type treat in the top and underneath is a section for you to put your own treats (be careful with this bit a small treats can get stuck and turn into a sticky slobbery mess so larger ones are ideal). With both parts filled this lasted our springer/laborador mix over 4 hours! When it's empty he throws it around to alert us to its empty state he enjoys it that much :-)We've now purchased the refills and the starmark everlasting stick. There's a knack to getting the refills into the ball but once you do its easy. Alternatively add your own fillings. Overall a great purchase for us :-D

Good - tough & durable bento ball container for the treat; treat is 'lickable' - dog can't chew it as it's contained within the ball with just one surface available; treat seems highly desirable to the dogs.Bad - bought two, one small and one medium size for my two dogs who consume at different rates but the is a huge size difference between the two items - I could have done with an intermediate size; expensive (but does appear to be long-lasting!)

I have two small dogs – the Maltese cross shihtzu and a mini schnauzer. The little one - the malshi,, managed demolish this in about 10 minutes flat removing the treat. I've also bought a medium-size one and I reckon that this is by far the better bet even for small dogs since it's much harder to dismantle and lasts longer in terms of concentration and effort. When I buy again, which I will, I will definitely buy the medium size.

I have a very chewy lab and she has a very bad habit of finding weak spots in toys and killing them. Although the "everlasting treat" lasted no time at all (gonna have to restrict the amount of those she has) I put some kibble in the other side and it takes her ages! Proper boredom buster and no signs of rips or tears. Very impressed. 4 stars! Would be 5 if the everlasting treat lasted longer. Great value for money!

I bought this for my border collie about a year ago. Admittedly not from amazon, but from a local pet store. The first time, my dog was busy for a couple of hours, but then he figured out how to get the “everlasting” treat out in about five minutes. However, the ball itself is brilliant for stuffing with various treats and my dog has been using it religiously. In spite of that, it’s not damaged, at all.

As someone has already stated, if your dog is reasonably bright it will soon work out a technique to get the treat in record time.My whippet has gone from taking all day...bliss, no more chewed table legs....to about an hour.My greyhound...bless...still not finished one. But that's possibly because Lizziewhippet keeps nicking his!Not great value for money but they do get used so I'm not complaining.

The bento ball it’s self is strong getting the treat in the ball is quite difficult to get in especially if you have any issues with your fingers but for it to last any length of time I think it has to be that strong . My dog can get the treat out and eat it in 30 min so not as long lasting as we hoped buy the bobbles on the outside do help in keeping her teeth clean.

Gifted to our crazy Springer Spaniel who is showing signs of boredom in this lockdown. Initially, I thought it would be too big, but it’s perfect! With supervised use throughout the day, the treat lasted 4 days and there is no damage to the plastic at all (this was one of my reservation from previous reviews as she usually destroys plastic or fluffy toys quickly).

Ball durable. Even for my demented 21 month old airedale terrier destroyer of everything !! treat however is far from everlasting! she had it out and eaten within an hour. Treats are expensive if they only last that long, so it will be a very occasional treat indeed. Probably be fine for a smaller less greedy, less manic dog !!

4 stars only because for one of my dogs (I brought 2 of these) it’s great and he’s still gnawing at it. For my other dog she figured how to pop out the middle bit in under 5 minutes and attempt to eat it all. Not good for smart dogs!!! Great for the average dog! (No offence to the intelligence of other dogs).

I have had one of these for my pointer for years, she is soft mouthed which helps but does rip apart anything soft and with a seam. The treat doesn’t last long for a dog that can get its jaw around the toy and treat and crunch it out. But I refill it the same I would a kong... would buy again

I previously had the large variety for a much bigger dog and it was great for keeping her occupied for some time trying to lick/chew the treat. Now have a smaller dog so bought the medium sized treat Bento ball and equally satisfied with its durability.
