Really good tool for occasional use. It feels strong and well made. There is a little spanner to assist changing the stem guides, it would be handy if this could have been clipped or somehow attached to the riveter to be always close at hand and less chance of it being lost.You do need a good strong hand and for larger rivets I have really got to try to squeeze it hard using both hands so this definitely is not suitable for prolonged or frequent use, especially on larger rivets.

Bought a metal shed and read that I needed to fix door with rivets. Never used rivets before so read through a lot of tool reviews. This one sounded good so ordered it. Arrived on time. Was a bit apprehensive about using it so had a look on YouTube. Tried it and it was so easy to use. Read a few reviews about the pin getting stuck inside the gun, but I had no problem whatsoever with this one. Tipped it over and the pin fell out. Great product.

Study and can set 5mm steel rivets. East to set up but be warned that if you set steel rivets especially the above, then be prepared for hardwork and sore hands. You will need exceptional arm strength to do it quickly or multiple returns to finally pop the Rivet.The gun is solid metal sides not folded and formed and therefore will not deform and bend over time.

Sturdy but missing any way to keep the handles together for storage, other than removing the spring each time.Ejects pins cleanly which many do not. Yes you do need to be a bodybuilder to use the largest size of rivet, but if you need to do much work with that size you really need a lazy tongs riveter!

You need the strength of Hercules to operate this device - but it does work superbly well. I used it to repair my steel shelled trailer tent and it worked a treat. Only 4 stars because sometimes the stem of the rivet gets stuck inside, but it's not hard to get them out.

I couldn't really ask much more of a riveter. It rivets, with a multitude of different sizes. as far as construction goes, it's built like a brick privy. Don't use it as a hammer and it will serve you well for an entire lifetime of rivets to your hearts content.

This pop riviter is a good home use tool If I had to use a riviter in a workshop every day then I would have bought a more upmarket tool.Having said that this was bought for occasional home use for if and when .For price it is just the job for home use.

There's not a lot to say about this riveter. It works extremely well and is clearly of a professional grade. It replaces a previous unfortunate choice which could handle only aluminium rivets. This one tackles tough steel ones without any problem.

So it has just arrived and have read alot of reviews claiming that you can't keep it closed or there's no space to put the included spanner. Well it was both and feels like a really good bit of kit. Will update after it's had some more use

Expected sturdiness and quality from Stanley and got it. This rivit gun is made well and does the job. Its reasonably easy to use although you have to apply a little more pressure on the handles to cut the end of the rivit.

We’ve bought this river gun before, our project involves using it EVERY day so we were really impressed with how long the last one lasted. That’s why we bought the same one again. Fingers crossed it lasts too!

This is robust and easy to use, the only "trick" is that after riveting the old pin is stuck inside the puller, so just poke it out with another rivet of the same size.

My husband chose this as a replacement for one he had for years. He is impressed with the quality and ease of use. The item was delivered quickly and well packaged.

Good tool but I needed two hands on largest rivets, which I must add is what I expected. I used this riveter to replace hinges on upvc windows, worked a treat.

Only used it on one still to be finished project but I am happy with it. The width of the end does restrict how near to an inside corner you can go.
