Honestly, this little piece of kit is a lifesave. The magnets are very strong and it really enhances the point of the laser (even when the laser isn't visible on the surface behind the target). I would highly recommend one of these to anyone using a laser for site work (particularly outdoors)

This plastic rectangle comes with a leg to stand it on the ground and, more usefully, a built-in magnet to attach it to metal surveying poles - which I find most useful. I have 4 of these and 6+ poles, which are really useful for setting out via a Leica Disto (S910).
