I'm seriously impressed by this whisky. I've had pig's nose before (the distillery's slightly cheaper sibling), and whilst that was a decent contender, and very good for £18, this bottle (at £21 at time of purchase) really races ahead. I'm not a whisky pro, I like to sample a range of single malts, bourbons, ryes etc but I've had less scotch blends. (of course I've had Johnnie Walker Black, a benchmark of quality blending). This was immediately appealing on first sip.This is a great example of how blending is not by definition inferior to single malts. I was quite amazed, and slightly curious that it is a blend of 16 malts from the principle whisky making regions.

Purchased this for my mum for Christmas- it ticked all the boxes, mum has a small holding in the West Country and she's partial to a wee dram!Well let's just say by Mother's Day I was not struggling for a gift and I've been informed that i need no longer worry about what to buy for any gift occasion- she's even recommended it to the landlord of the local pub where she cooks part time!Need I say more!?Oh and delivery was before it was due2 bottles down and more will be purchased in the future!All I can say is many thanks! X

A very nice blend with a difference - full fruity nose and interesting complex taste. First couple of tastes were lovely, but when I added ice it opened up some very strange flavours at first. I got cold black tea at one point, which was quite disappointing and took me half a bottle to shake. Happy to report that my fixation with this taste, and the taste itself, eventually passed. Once you taste something in a whisky it's hard to stop getting it, but it did go. Don't be put off at all - this is very nice stuff indeed.

There comes a point at which whisky drinking becomes more of a hobby than a habit, and once the point was well and truly passed I found myself revisiting the drinks I enjoyed when much younger. Simply because of its name, this was a favourite gift -- both to give and to receive.It's delicious, and like a lot of decent whiskies its taste can be tuned by adding water. Good value, too...

bought as a christmas gift for partner, I know very little about whisky, but the reviews read well for it. He tried it, and thought it was a much moreexpensive favourite of his and rated it 9 out of 10, when I showed him the label, it made him chuckle, but still rated the whisky highly.

Not as good as the price. Bought it for my shepherd husband who normally would get glenmorangie red, but although this is around the same price it isnt as nice, but the name made up for it.

This was recommended by the father inlaw and his drinking buddy. It is an exceptional blended whisky. Very smooth, and a bit of a talking point in the home bar. Give it a try.

Just a very nice blend compared to all those other well known middle of the rd whisky's.If you can't afford an expensive whisky by this one as the next best thing.

I have never been a big whisky drinker but Sheep Dip is absolutely superb,it's nice and smooth and would recommend it to anyone who has never tasted it.10/10.

Not only my favourite whiskey, but even better than the single malt whiskeys I have tried in the past. Really excellent blend!

Purchased for my other half who is Welsh, he loves single malt Whisky, especially from Speyside. He is enjoying his drams.
