The Sonos beam is a great piece of kit but sadly I was let down by Argos selling me what must have been a returned item. I had tremendous trouble setting the unit up. After extensive research and connecting the unit to my home network by Ethernet I discovered that the product had been set up to another user’s account! It was connected to another email account; both on the Sonos app and the Alexa app. After much struggling I have now managed to get the equipment working and fully connected to me

The sound is really as good as the reviews say. Full range with powerful enough bass to fill my small house. It has the option of being expanded in the future with sub-woofer and surround sound speakers, but that'll come at a hefty price. I do wish it had more connectivity options. A simple aux in and bluetooth connectivity don't seem like too much to ask for such an expensive product, and the promised Google Assistant compatibility still hasn't arrived, with Sonos being rather cagey on updates.

Overall, you are truly getting what you pay for.It's compact and fully controllable via app on your phone and the unit is surprisingly for me at least capable of extremely deep, room shaking bass.Fortunately for late night viewing, the bar has a night mode toggle on the app which has prevented any complaints.One note is that the Alexa in built is currently not capable of accepting calls from other Alexa devices in your home. A small drawback but certainly not worthy of losing a star.

Great bit of kit. First sound car I've ever bought. Doe some homework, read lots of reviews and well happy with the purchase. Looks great, very easy to set up, sounds great. I listen to alot of music and love how this sounds. We watch films too and very impressed with its performance. I can understand some people's comments on its performance in large rooms but it's not designed for huge rooms. Can't recommend the sonos beam enough. The app is easy to use. Looking forward to adding more speakers

To start with, it’s worth mentioning I own a Creative Production Company - This doesn’t make me an ‘expert’, however it does show that I take great care when ordering any visual or audio products online.This is a fantastic sound bar, unbelievably crisp quality, amazing to have Alexa built in as I have multiple Echos / Dots around the house. Obviously this won’t have as much bass as a bar with a sub-woofer, however it’s still got plenty of bass for any movie or game. Would recommend!

Firstly, I cannot actually believe there are negative reviews regarding this speaker! I have this set up with two Sonos Ones as rear speakers, and the sound is superb! You can crank up the volume and there is never distortion, and the bass is more than enough for me! When watching a 4K movie or series, this is when the set up becomes even more alive! Highly Highly recommend this speaker! And any other Sonos product for that matter. Yes pricey,(if not on sale;) but you get what you pay for! :)

Added to a larger Sonos setup. In the kitchen & wall mounted. Sonos own mount isn’t cheap but alternatives are out there. Sound is great for a smaller room where the Playbar would be too large/loud/look out of place and is what you’d expect from Sonos & the price.Basic set up is child’s play. You should be up and running in minutes even if this is your 1st Sonos.This is our first Alexa product so do your research on the relevant apps and connectivity with any other smart devices you’ve got.

Expensive but in the Black Friday sales it had a good discount Sound quality is good, build quality is goodI linked it to my two play 3’s so I had left and right surround sound, it sounded good for tv setup but no good for music which lost its distinct stereo sound and was muddied by the centre beam speaker the play 3’s are better as a stand-alone stereo pair for music, but there is no touch of a button way to unlink them and the only real solution is to buy two play 1’s purely for surround

Absolutely love this new Sonos addition to my home - it looks stunning and really sleek sitting below the TV. on the TV stand. I think next for us when we buy a new home will the have it hanging on the wall underneath the TV. The sound this speaker creates is brilliant and crystal clear, filling the whole room without being over poweringly basey. And to top it all off, as per all other Sonos items it was super easy and straightforward to set-up. Can't wait to continue building the collection :)

Bought this at the same time as a flat screen TV. Wasn’t sure how it would sound being a standalone sound bar (although you can purchase a sub and/or satellites but for a much higher cost) but I have been pleasantly surprised. I previously had a subwoofer connected to my old TV and I was concerned the bass would be nowhere near. It h hasn’t been an issue. Unless you love strong bass then this little sound bar will more than meet your needs. It’s easy to connect and can connect via airplay too!

Fabulous sound and great price I would recommend to anyone who wants great sound but I would also recommend getting the wireless speakers to achieve surround sound and trust me the films sound fantastic and my husband loves watching Sports mainly football with this system.We got this on sale with the wireless speakers as a bundle to replace our old LG sound bar and the Sonos does not disappoint its easy to set up and control and the app has any help should you need any in all ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

It was really easy to reserve and collect the same day. I had the item 3 hours after placing the order which I thought was amazing. The sound of this sonos soundbar is amazing. Clear and loud. It’s also perfect if you want to expand your system later down the line. I’m going to add some Sonos One’s and use them as rear speakers. The Sonos ones can also be used as portable speakers throughout the house. I’d recommend this product despite it being more than most soundbars it’s future proof.

just after download the app on your phone to set it up .but from there it does it all for yo .I got the surround speakers and subwoofer to make the sound even better either though its not cheap but it will never need replacing cos it updates itself when a new soft wear comes out.over all very pleased .best with sound system ive got.just looks so modern with al the speakers surrounding our room even the social security made a comment about them when they came round.but didn't look inpressed .

My first Sonos product to go with a new Samsung 43 inch Tv.Wanted a smaller sound bar that would fit neatly under the new TV. This certainly fitted the brief. Set up is straightforward using the app and fun too. Wife thought I had lost the plot as I walked around the living room waving my phone around as funny noises emulated. This is necessary for Sonos to adapt to your room shape.As well as TV , Alexa playback ability is also useful.Sound quality is very good considering the size.

An easy to set up good looking sound bar. I prefer the style of this one over the playbar as it looks more modern than the playbar and fits in to any room better. sound quality is distinctive but lacks depth and bass. I returned and spent the extra on a playbar. If you are looking for a budget sonos for a small room then this is for you. If you already have sonos products and are adding to your network, I would invest the little extra. Especially if you already have other sonos products
