Connectivity:I wanted my soundbar to have an HDMI port since my 6 years old Samsung smart TV had an ARC port. This was one of the cheapest soundbars with that feature. I am happy to report that with the HDMI cable; I can use my TV remote control to adjust the volume of the soundbar very smoothly. Be careful, the first HDMI cable I tried did not transmit anything, so I had to try a more substantial HDMI cable, which then worked well.I also tried my laptop and smartphone to connect to this via Bluetooth, which also worked very well. Spotify or any music you may have on your laptop streams wirelessly very well.Sound:I am not awfully picky, but this sounds very well. It was a joy to listen music from YouTube or Spotify.

Well i run my tv though a amp with 5.1 system all good but not for when you want to just watch a bit of tv without turning on everything, as my plasma tv is old so the speakers have now blown but the screen is fine, the answer is this sound bar, its not the best but for the money its great for 70 pounds its cheaper than a new tv. Ive found no problems setting it up even the bluetooth to my samsung s9 was so easy, no passcode, just found saved then play from phone easy. Ive contected it with a rca to phone for my tv as my optical out is going to my amp system, there is some modes news movie music not played much with these and to be honest i wont as if i need that i would turn on my 5.1 system amp.

I originally bought a majority soundbar for £30 but remote did not work so I decided to spend a bit more and get one that was a decent brand so as there were no issues with the performance. I am so glad I did the sound is much better quality it really brings films to life. The remote is a nice small flat one so it’s not really taking up any space. I have a 40” sharp tv and the soundbar fits perfectly in front of the tv. It does not block the remote sensor on the tv like the majority did. This item comes with its own wall brackets which is surprising as for the price I paid I did not expect it to.

Bought this for my Samsung kitchen TV to replace a Bomaker compact soundbar which had no HDMI input and hence I was not able to control with the Sky remote.One thing to note is that on install I had to reboot my Sky/TV (completely power down) before the sound came through from the Sky Q (mini) box (via the TV) to the soundbar. Prior to the reboot only the TV (Freeview) was audible. I would advise anyone wishing to use this Sky remote functionality is to check the Sky & TV settings to enable all ARC return settings are set to use the TV's ARC return HDMI slot. Most TVs will only have one compatible ARC HDMI slot so double check you are using the correct port.

Using this in the kitchen as a music/radio speaker (it is attached to a tv but not the primary purpose). I have many expensive systems in the house and the sound quality from this sound bar compares favourably given the price. A couple of very useful features are it’s compact height and it’s auto switch on. The height is great as it sits on top of an extractor cupboard and we only had inches for it to fit. The auto switch on is brilliant as we have it connected to an echo dot via the aux in. We just speak to the echo dot and it springs into life. On sound, it’s very good in digital radio, crisp but with a depth due to the bass porting - if you are not going for a separate sub then definitely go for a bar with bass porting.

Enjoying some nice sound quality paired to my phone and playing Pavarotti's Hits.Decided not to add to the TV as need to acquire cables and not really bothered with extra sound output as I have to juggle 2 remotes already depending on whether ordinary or HD channel. But I do like paired with my phone, which was really easy to do. This means I can move the speaker around the house and even outside to enjoy music.Only disappointment is the range of the remote - it doesn't reach from my sofa to the speaker on the opposite side of the room, just 7 feet. I have to get up and halve the distance. That could be inconvenient anytime I have to instantly mute, e.g. to take a phone call or speak to someone coming in the room.Before buying,

We’ve had this for ages now must be about a year using it in our bedroom with a Samsung tv and it’s good.It does make a big difference to the sound quality. Think at first we did wonder then tried the tv without it and defiantly noticed a difference. You can control the volume by using the tv remote so you don’t have to bother with the soundbar contro if not wanting to. Saying that it is only a small flat control.Four stars as sometimes we switch it on and if that has been turned off before the tv the next time we turn the tv on it doesn’t come on straightaway almost like a time lag. Slim design so can fit behind the tv if you need it to and with it being black blends in with tv rather than in your face.

this is a very simple, yet good option for a soundbar.The very sleek and thin design - around 3 inches tall means it can sit an any tv stand or shelf and not take up too much vertical space.The soubd quality is perfectly fine for a variety of TV watching - while not a surround sound feel, the stereo spread is strong enough to still project movie soundscapes into your living room. This is also great for listening to music through for background sound or get together.The build quality is also a highlight. The casing seems strong and feels as though it would survive being dropped - not that I would recommend that you try!For the price,

We had noticed the sound quality from the TV had deteriorated, whether age of TV, quality of recorded sound from TV stations has reduced (pandemic restrictions) or simply we were getting older. The sound bar has improved the quality of the sound due to bass and treble separate controls and even an equaliser although have not used that much. When we had to increase volume on the TV it boomed - too much bass - through the sound bar if we do the same we can reduce the bass and hence the boom. For us it works well and therefore recommend it. We cannot criticise the TV (a Samsung) - flat TVs do not give much depth for speakers

I bought it for use with my Panasonic TV (a 10 year old Smart TV, that was way ahead of its time). I used the HDMI ARC port to connect to the sound bar. However, I am constantly using it for Bluetoothing from my iPod, or iPad. Using a popular internet radio app, it produces a very sweet sound across all genres of music, classical strings are especially beautiful, male voices do not come across as too boomy on speech. I can’t stop playing it from the radio app, I am leaving it on all the time in the background in my living room, it makes the house seem warmer, more welcoming. I can’t stop smiling inside with this!

What a difference! I'm no specialist but after hesitating for a while i went for it and frankly am blown away at the difference. I have a Samsung TV and thought the sound was ok. But when you switch the sound bar on and off you immediately notice what a difference it makes. It suddenly makes my TV sound all tingy without it. And super easy to set up too. I set it up via Bluetooth in about 30secs! I understand the sound may be even better with a HDMI cable. Great value for money and i cannot compare it to something that costs 200pounds but i don't need to know. This suits us just fine!

I am very impressed with the rich sound quality this sound bar produces. The EQ and level adjustments you can make with the remote can change it between a quite whisper for night viewing, or a room filling bass experience.The remote control is not the easiest at first, you are controlling the EQ and levels blind, with the LEDs to indicate your selection. However, once you've got it set to your desire, you won't need to change it.My TV did not play well with ARC and CEC, it would not work reliable, even with quality Hdmi cables. Using optical works flawlessly.

easy to install from settings on tv, choose amplifier speaker, connect done in 2 minutes, it is not as simple as plug n play but with a bit of know how its easy, nice item for 3rd of cost of branded name similar output items, great for tvs upto around 55", once connected, the tv remote should operate soundbar by on,off button, and volume controls, so no messing with 2 remotes, other than for music,news, film mode, personally I leave it in movie mode ! overall great all round punchy performance for less than sixty quid !

I received my item today and followed the instructions on my iPhone to set up using hdmi ark ,I found the sound fab with tv but no better when watching sky q when I used the soundbar through tv it blasted out at 47 but with sky still had to set the volume to 98 Realised it has nothing to do with soundbar it is the volume on skyq box which is the problem even on full volume at 100 especially when watching movies is low

Set up first with optical and worked fine, but wanted my Samsung tv remote (and sky) volume to operate so instead attached an hdmi cable to the hdmi-arc tv connector to the hdmi in and worked perfectly. Even the tv remote on/off switches the soundbar on/off at the same time. Sound is good, and adjustable bass and treble is available for individual taste.Loud enough for the biggest rooms!Nice compact cross section.
