Just bought the sound bar and I'm happy with the sound bar itself. The adaptive sound mode is particularly useful, it enhances voice in scenes where it might otherwise get drowned out. Overall, the sounds you get out of it are rich and powerful. I like it so much i wanted to add the advertised rear surround speakers to get full surround sound out of it.My gripe (and it's a major one) is that the surround speaker unit that is advertised by Samsung themselves as being an upgrade (SWA-8500S) is no longer available. When you click on the "where to buy" link it leads you to sites where it is not available either, and Samsung do not offer alternative rear speakers that are compatible with this sound bar So my advice if you want a true surround sound system,

Tested today back to back against my 11.1 dolby atmos system and was very pleasantly surprised with the clarity of sound and wide dispersion via surround mode with this 2 box wireless system and connection to alexa was a doddle and definitely a selling point although a 4 point parametric eq would have been a major upgrade in comparison to the simple bass treble settings which were indeed best left at flat or 0 , having said that the sound is crisp and clear from the samsung / harmon kardon and blends nicely with the sub woofer all in all a reasonable piece of kit at a fair price.

bought to replace an old jvc soundbar, and well this Q60R rocks!!! Great all round surround and different sound modes. Can connect to my Alex show to stream music with ease. The bass is phenomenal crisp and clear audio through out the range. Tv shows and films ard brought to life and are much more enjoyable. Neighbours won't be too happy though. Theatre quality sound from such a low priced item. A+++ from me. Found no Con's only Pros with this item. Even works with my Samsung remote.

This is a great system for the money. I bought a 65 inch Samsung TV and sound, especially base, was not great. I researched different sound-bars but this is great value and the sound is brilliant even with the subwoofer off. Switch the subwoofer on for films and music and the base is really good. Yes you can get better out of the Q90 but the price was too high for me. The Q60 totally changes the TV experience and I set it up with an HDMI cable although still excellent via Bluetooth

bought this little beauty to go with my Samsung TV the sound quality is fantastic so much so that I thought I could hear music from neighbour above me when I muted the sound I realised it was background music from program I was watching that's how good the quality is.Have also used this soundbar for music and gaming (gaming setting was a reason I bought this product) and its brilliant.As for set up because I have a Samsung TV was easy to pair it up without a problem in seconds.

The Samsung Q60R is a good value for money Soundbar; providing 5.1 surround sound using Samsung's "beam technology".It's very connectable and dead easy to setup.I would definitely advise purchasing Samsung's SWA-8500s wireless rear speakers to the setup; they provide a much more immersive sound without any further cluttering of wires. The ARGOS experience was exemplary: a simple ordering process, good communications and a prompt delivery.

I brought this in conjunction with a 65Q70R TV for my son's 18th birthday present to go in his game's room and on first impressions the picture and sound are very impressive. I auditioned the sound bar against the Bose 500 and Sonos Beam also the Q70R. My son and I both thought the Q60R more expansive and musical. Will update in a couple of weeks when we have had a chance to really put I through its paces and some 4k content.

The sound bar was purchased to enhance my Samsung 4K TV and it does with flying colours, it was easy to set up with Bluetooth connection and the unit turns on and off with the TV. The sub woofer produces great base tones too, it sounds fantastic with 4K movies and music TV is a must. I can’t believe the difference between the TV speakers and Samsung Harman Kardon HW-Q60R. Overall I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I’m so amazed by the sound quality of this soundbar. The base is really rich and deep, also dialogue nice and clear too. This is an upgrade from my previous Samsung soundbar and I can’t believe the sound difference. I was a bit worried it would not be compatible with my 5 year old Samsung tv, but I was wrong no probs whatsoever connected straight away with hdmi arc. I would strongly recommend this soundbar.

Great soundbar. The sound is amazing, especially when compared to standard TV speakers - the bass makes the room shake if it's turned up, and there is none of the volume up and down malarkey when whatever you're watching switches between dialogue and action scenes.The soundbar itself looks and feels premium, and integrates very well with my Samsung TV.All in all, great purchase, highly recommended.

I bought this to get the cinema effect with my new TV. It really enhances the sound (War Horse scared me, I though there was a horse in my living room! The only issue is, I have to keep connecting it every time i turn on the TV and the Samsung badge is on upside down, or maybe I have the bar upside down (the LED display is on the top i assume!?)

This soundbar arrived in a large, well-padded box containing everything needed to set up and use it. The facility to link with the TV wirelessly using bluetooth is easy to set up and particularly helpful for the woofer, which can be placed anywhere in the room with just a mains cable. Sound is excellent and near Hi Fi in quality.

Bought this HW-Q60R soundbar to match the Q60R TV and all I can say is the sound is awesome and the clarity of the sound is near on perfect and having different sound modes from adaptive to standard and then you got the surround mode which is just fantastic I am just so happy and inpressed

This sound bar was purchased to compliment our new Samsung TV, when you watch programmes on Netflix Amazon or YouTube the sound is amazing like being in a cinema.On standard tv it’s still good , clear voices great volume, but when a film is shown in Dolby or 5.1 it is astounding.

I purchased a 43" Samsung tv and soundbar a month or so ago & i love it so much that i purchased a 55" tv and sounder for the main living room. TV picture is amazing & the quality of the soundbar is awesome. You really need a soundbar to get the most out of the tv experience.
