it feels like a quality bar.the clarity is very good.But unfortunately those 300 watts are going somewhere else because it's only as loud as my television (the tv hasn't anywhere near 300w dedicated to sound production), which is the reason why i decided to buy a sound bar.The cheap sound bar i have in the teenage spare room rated at 140w is just as loud and the clarity is very acceptable ...i tried multiple ports and tv's to see if it is a factor (usb and standard tv are notibly quieter)i bought two sj3's (one as a gift both same same).I can even compare it to many other little audio systems i have got and made.purchased and diy.i have personally had televisions with significantly better standard sound built in.So all in all it is quality,

Recently purchased this as my existing home cinema 2.1 system packed up after 9 years of faultless service as the TV sound is not acceptable as like all LED screens are these days.Buying this sound bar I was sceptical at first that it did not sound as good as my hcs I replaced, but with using the ASC feature button on the remote I was Wowed! and now it is set up with some innovative idea of mounting the sound bar on mounting blocks I made up from using old discarded polystyrene packaging using some black card and hey presto I now have the sound bar located where I wanted it to be( see images_

bluetooth works perfectly✔️Loud✔️Clear✔️Deep, clear bass from the subwoofer✔️First impression: It’s sleek, modern and compact. It’s very user friendly, boasts a cinema mode and a night mode which removes excessive bass and treble to still be able to hear everything in great quality, not so quiet that you can’t hear what’s happening, great for watching tv if people are asleep or it’s great too someone living in a flat like me, furthermore it doesnt affect the performance of the speakers.

Probably the best soundbar you can get for the money. It sounds far better than any TV speakers ever can, which is the main reason I bought it. Nice rich bass from the sub, and clean treble with hardly any distortion at maximum volume. It's incredibly easy to connect your phone or other music playing device via Bluetooth so you can play your music through it, and music sounds superb through it. When connected to a TV via Bluetooth it can lag occasionally but an optical cable will resolve this.

Bought this piece of kit for my grandson (15) who games a lot, usually with headphones on. The depth of sound this wee baby has added to his gaming enjoyment is phenomenal. What's excellent about it is that it can be easily set up to create an " I'm in the middle of the action feel" without disturbing the rest of the family or the neighbours. He mastered how to use it in no time flat. He likes the exposed speaker appearance (its cool looking ,he says). He deserves it he does well at school.

A fantastic replacement for my previous soundbar. The sound quality is top-notch for the price, although there are obviously more expensive/better options. For my bedroom, though, this is great. I connected it via Optical to an LG TV. It's compatible with my Sky+HD remote and my LG Magic Remote. The soundbar will automatically turn itself on when the TV is turned on and off when the TV is turned off. I would say that the power cable for the subwoofer could have done with being a little longer.

TV was really struggling in our new place with sound as it’s very open plan, and wanted to get a nice, straight forward soundbar that works every time you turn on the tv. Very happy with this, and the wireless sub means I can place it the other side of the room, and have no cables running everywhere.Love to use this for Bluetooth phone music when I’m at home, can’t complain, other than the ridiculous amount of polystyrene that comes with the packaging, not eco friendly at all, pet peeve :-)

Films sound great and I can play music via Bluetooth from my phone and tablet, the subwoofer adds bass and atmosphere, sound quality is decent not amazing but for its price its a bargain. This doesn't come with instructions or an optic cable which you need. However the speaker automatically synced itself with my LG TV, the remote controls both and when I turn Bluetooth on my phone and play music it comes through on the speaker automatically. The speaker also fits perfectly under my 40inch Tv.

Good value for money and greatly helps dumb-down the awful sound quality of many modern TV receivers which tend to have too much treble no matter how one sets them up. By trial and error I found it best to completely cut out the TV loudspeakers and have sound only via the sound bar and sub-woofer. In addition I found some trial and error was also required for setting up the sub-woofer (easy to do by means of the remote control), otherwise under certain conditions the sound can be too 'boomy'.

The main speaker looks great. Opinion can be split on leaving the speaker cones visible. I like it. The bar comes with a 2.5mm line in, optical audio input and Bluetooth so it can be connected to almost anything. There's a good little remote for it with a feature to automatically change the equilizer for the best sound mix. The subwoofer has a nice fake carbon fibre look to it and produces a good bass sound. The remote allows you to alter the volume of the subwoofer. Overall good for price.

Easy to set up connecting with either Bluetooth or optical cable. Using the optical connection as I think a direct connect is better for sound quality.Sub-woofer connects instantly to the soundbar without issue.Sounds great an a massive difference to the TV inbuilt speakers. Adjusts automatically to media being watched or played, Watching a movie is on another level altogether with the sub-woofer playing it's part really well.Also connects easily to smart phone or pad to play music.

Great buy. It improves sound quality 10-fold; the cinema sound feature is great! It actually may be too much power for our townhouse - as it rumbles the entire living room when watching a movie with strong sound effects. Perfect for us. It connects to your TV via Bluetooth or HDMI/optical cable. It does not come with a cable - so you need to buy it separately - which would have really irritated me if I needed one - because you are not warned about this. Our TV uses Bluetooth technology.

The LG SJ3 soundbar is easy to set up and looks good in front of our 43" LG TV.It works well enough when connected to the set via Bluetooth but there was sometimes a very slight delay, putting picture and sound fractionally out of sync. This problem was eliminated once an optical cable was used for the connection.Bass response is excellent through the wireless subwoofer, especially in Cinema mode, but for me treble output from the tweeters could be greater to make speech clearer.

I always read other reviews before purchasing anything electrical. Ignore the bad reviews about the sound quality as I found it better than expected for the price. I bought the sound bar to replace an existing one as I wanted a sub for better bass and am happy with the quality when watching a film in cinema mode. Just remember to turn off night mode when u 1st use it as it was set to on as default and the sub does not go loud and I will feel the bass when watching action scenes in films.

Does what it says on the box, easy to set up and link the wireless sub woofer. I don’t find the general sound much different from my TV speakers, but ‘on cinema’ mode it is absolutely brilliant also easy to link to music of my phone via Bluetooth. I would definitely recommend this product . Just a little warning about the weight of it though when collecting from Argos. I’m an older person and I really struggled to carry it to my car . The sound bar is not heavy but the sub woofer is !!
