This is a very adequate tool for light use at an excellent price. As Mrs. A. D. Jamieson notes in her review, the weakest point is the arrangement for gripping the sandpaper. This stuff in any case tends to be brittle, and easily tears away from the cheap and cheerful bent wire gripper. I have found that an adequate fix for this is to reinforce the paper at then ends with sticky tape. Tape up on both sides the parts of the paper that go up and into the gripper, but not so far as to go under the vibrating plate. Duct tape is probably best, but even electricians tape seems to to a passable job of extending the paper's working life.

Like - does what it says onbthe box .Less vibration than my dewalt sander, the buttonDislike- button to keep the sander on is difficult to work , sometime it lock sometimes it does not. Also noticed the sander shut off by itself twice so far. Will continue using it to see it this keeps happening.Note - it came it two springs but no information on what the springs are for or where the are to be placed . I expect that there are springs inside the machine and these are replacement. But information on this would be great.

I really don't understand how a Chinese? factory, a shipper, an importer, Amazon and Royal Mail can combine to put this product on my doorstep for under fourteen quid.Yes, the paper clamps are a tad feeble, but otherwise a simple and sturdy machine which does what it says on the tin.Have just spent four hours sanding a tired large picnic table, and apart from a few changes of ripped paper, the unit has completed a tough job with flying colours.Top marks at this price, can totally recommend.

I bought this tool as a small job tool. I had read most of the bad reviews wondering what sort of use this sander was being asked to do. It is not a large, ridged work horse by any means but a well made,cheap end sander fit for any small to medium DIY sanding task. Quick delivery with secure packaging by the company. Don't believe all you read in these reviews use them as a guide, think about what you want a tool to do and spend accordingly.

Great little sander, managed to sand a whole shed with ease & product does exactly as described, well priced and easy to change sandpaper.Initially though about hiring a sander for the day but the hire price was identical to purchasing this one new. I just brought regular sandpaper and cut it to size - worked perfectly well. Would definately recommend.

This was a replacement for a much more expensive sander that had died on me. Considering the low price I was doubtful that it would do the job as well. So far it has performed faultlessly. The build quality seems good so I'm expecting a long life from the product. Very satisfied!

As a DIY Guy, not a pro, I do like to have the right tool for the job. However, I don't want to spend vast amounts on stuff I don't use that often.I have bought quite a number of tools from Silverline now and have never been disappointed. And this was no exception !!

Looking around in local superstores the cheapest I could get was ! £24 so this sander was a real bargain great for sanding walls with filler covering cracks and plaster imperfections I am Happy with this product and the price paid

i needed a sander and i saw one that i liked on amazon it was the first item that i bought on amazon i recievied it very quickely it was very cheap and im very happy with the product and hope to buisness again sometime

Just used it the once but it did the job required. It will only be used occasionally for DIY projects and therefore is ok for my needs. For economy I'll cut sandpaper to size rather than buy bespoke sheets.

I only brought a cheap one cos it probably wont get used when i have finished my table, it works well does its job and has been working very hard this weekend and its still going.Light weight too

The sander i ordered arrived very quick,For the price i paid the product is great,it did all i wanted it to do.fast delivery,value for money, and no walking around shops fantastic.
