This is actually a really nice collection of games from the Megadrive back catalogue. Yes, we have seen some of them many many times before, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, but they are all so iconic (and great) they had to include them.I kind of like the menu system, although it doesn't look like much effort was put into modelling some of the items in the "virtual" 90s bedroom, still kind of nice though. Maybe they should have just included a simple names list option to select the games as well.Options wise, it has the usual things we have come to expect from these collections, different screen sizes, filters etc, but this collection now has a rewind feature,

I bought this so I could bore my 9 and 7 year old girls with “this is what computers were like in my day”. Unfortunately they love it so I get minimal use of it. There were only a few titles on it that I actually bought it for and they brought back the memories and the realisation of how much of my childhood I spent / wasted playing them (my children will not be wasting the same amount of time). Some excellent titles and some that I will never bother with. Decent price and the delivery was earlier than the quoted times, even in the middle of this lockdown.

50 games for £24, what a bargain. Some nice titles like Streets of Rage & Golden Axe. Was surprised it was only 750+ Meg to copy over. The title screen is set in a bedroom with TV in front and bookshelves with the games on for you to select. You can play fullscreen 4:3 or on the TV in the onscreen room. And a big plus, you can save your progress through the game. The graphics are a bit blocky but might be because it was blown up on a 43" TV ? great nostalgia trip at a great price, very pleased with my purchase ?

I love this SEGA Mega Drive Classics bundle, collection of 53 little pieces of our childhoods (those of us born in the 70s & 80s, at least). A good selection, featuring a variety of absolute bangers (Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage) and some cult favorites (Shining Force, Landstalker), though some glaring holes in the lineup prevent it from feeling comprehensive, but this is the best way to sample the SEGA Mega Drive library today without the actual original console, CRT television & carts.

A fantastic opportunity to experience nostalgia and appreciate how games have developed over the years. My girlfriend and I love the Street Fighter series and also playing games we hadn't even heard of. The home hub is very clever and brings back memories of how my room used to look! I feel like I underpaid for this product considering how many games there are.My parents sold my Sega Mega Drive at a car boot sale and I have never forgiven them for it. This eases that pain somewhat!

Love this collection, but I still refuse to get rid of my ps3 version as sadly sega seems to be having trouble with the licensing rights for sonic 3 and sonic and knuckles and poor little ecco the dolphin. To be fair this is the only thing that makes this package incomplete as the 2009 sega collection had everything everyone wanted to most (all Sonics, ecco the dolphin) There is still fun to had with this bundle but not the complete fun it would have been with the missing games.

The emulation of these titles has been done very well and there are lots of options available to tweak how you want games to be displayed. Mirror mode is a great addition that allows you to play classics in a completely new way. Online multiplayer is a great addition too for when you don't have someone at home to pick up a second pad. Great for all those 80's and 90's kids and anyone wanting to see what the 16 bit generation was all about.

What a game, I will recommend but not to the new generation, they probably won’t understand or appreciate like for example my little sister don’t. The millennials only want iPhones, tablets and Xbox ones in super ultra HD. I love it man, it takes me back to the time I had a mega drive 2, I had one for a while after the PlayStation came out as I came from a poor family. But I wouldn’t change it for the world :D

Bought this as im a massive Sega Mega Drive fan from the era..The game is fantastic, But obviously, its an emulation, Which is not perfect..I had a few instances where the games glitched slightly, Also, the game's music doesnt sound 100% spot on either... Not a massive inconvenience, But if your like me, and you know the game theme song perfectly, Hearing it slightly off, is a little annoying sometimes

A nice updated Megadrive collection for the current gen consoles that provides some retro gaming goodness for only £25! Complete with a double-sided poster just like from the 90s :). I wish they would include Outrun, Super Hang-On and Virtua Racing as they are a lot of peoples favourites from back in the day. Recommended for us 80's/90's kids who refuse to grow up!

We needed a simple way to use Sky GO on our telivision, the PS4 is a supported device with the added benefit of a super graphics interface, a blue ray player and a wealth of games. Our PS4 came with two controllers and a game, was easy to setup and has a host of clever features. The player is compact and has a excellent finish, so it looks as good as it performs.

Good little set of games. Been playing with my mates and reminiscing of the good old days! Plenty to keep you entertained and my 2 young daughters liking it too as the games and controls are simple and lots of 2 player games. Why don’t they make games like these anymore?!

Nice selection of retro megadrive games, but no sonic 3 for some reason. The game shelf that lets you pick your cartridge is kinda fun at first but gets a little annoying. A basic thumbnail menu would work better, hopefully gets an update and possibly some dlc.

Sega mega classics for PS4 was a great idea. Bought it as a Birthday Gift for my Husband who grew up playing the classics. So brings back food memories. We are still exploring the mini games to find all of the 2 player ones. So far so good. Thank you Argos.
