I bought this for two farm kittens I have recently adopted. They have quickly learned to use it and only it after a few days and I am finding it very hygienic and simple to clean out. In fact I have left off the lid for the moment, as they are so little, and I didn't want to put any obstacles in their way of getting to know what to do. which has worked.Later, as they grow I will install the privacy element with the roof and door, this will also keep the odour more enclosed I feel.
