Not a runner, so I can't tell you anything about that performance. My first Saucony was the Triumph 11 back in 2013. I've worn nothing but Sauconys ever since, for the fit and comfort. I've always worn the same size and D width, which gave me extra width to accommodate a neuroma and a spur. I think the reason the fit has changed dramatically is the squishy, bouncy PowerRun material in the sole; being a neutral shoe, that squishiness would allow too much instability on the old platform. (If you wore Ride ISO 2s, you know what I mean.) Lush cushioning also means a larger shoe. Neither the Freedom 3, the Kinvara 11 or this Triumph 17 fit me. The base of all three is very narrow (the Freedom 3 felt like walking a balance beam underfoot),while the uppers are super-stretchy knit to fit a wide foot. Who has a wide foot with a narrow sole? Whatever. Don't mean to be so gabby, but you have no idea what I've been through trying to find my usual neutral Sauconys because of this new narrow platform, so I'm just passing on information.I ended up returning these Triumph 17s for a half size smaller and a Wide width, which I've never required in any shoe. The Wide base is still not as wide as the original D width has always been, but they work for me. Good -looking shoes with a reasonable stack height, not overly high, and it's like walking on clouds in them. I ordered a second pair also, hoping these still work for me a month from now.

I have now walked 2 times in these shoes (15km) and they feel very good. Their fit is a bit tighter than the previous version (triumph iso 5), but that is certainly not a problem. The heel height is also higher, but this is not a problem in terms of stability. The running shoes also have more bounce in them than the previous versions. The laces are very soft and completely different from other Saucony running shoes. I hope they are just as expensive, but this is yet to be seen. The previous versions of the Triumphs (iso 3 and iso 5) always reached more than 1200km, so hopefully this too. At this point, I can definitely recommend them.

I’ve been a runner for 23 years and can say without hesitation this is the best shoe I’ve ever owned. Light, cushioned, and stands up to the miles. The perfect shoe for long road work, with just the right amount of tread for light trail work without worrying about sliding all over the place in a damp day like I do in a pair of Nike Reacts for example. Immediately bought another pair to put in the closet. As a side note, I was pleasantly surprised when the Jackalope color way turned out to be a black with an infrared/neon orange trim. From the pictures I was expecting something closer to a brown and traditional orange.

I loved how these felt and used them strictly for longer runs. I noticed one of the heel bevels had a bit of lean when on uneven surfaces and was starting to show more wear on the outsole on the inside of the heel. On further inspection I noticed the internal heel counter was split and had give. I wish I had caught this earlier instead of wondering why the one heel rolled in. I have only about 50 miles in them and probably should not run in them anymore. Other then that I would recommend them for longer distance trainers

My favorite saucony brand with which I have walked many thousands of kilometers. The service of the brand is also exceptional. Due to the lightening of the shoes and the latest materials, it sometimes happens that shoes break. I have noticed that runnerinn and saucony feel fully responsible for this and solve it neatly. Also this saucony triumph 17 will give me about 1000 kilometers of running pleasure again. Beautiful shoe, perfectly sitting, light, strong, good running movement.

I have tingut different models of running sabatilles of different brands: Nike, Asics, Skechers ... I aquestes Saucony Triumph 17 are with them that I have felt more comfortable from the first moment. To highlight that they have a comfortable interior molt, with a good encoixinat and that l'amortiment, so much of the taló, com de mig peu, is one of the millors that I have used mai, amb l´afegit that is not affected by stability. Really moldable recomanables!

I have run using Saucony shoes for over 30 years, now I'm 66. Started with the original Jazz, which I loved, and used several versions of the Triumph in recent years along with the Ride and Kinerva. This is the greatest running shoe ever. Fit is perfect, I wear a 12.5 normal width. I feel no soreness in my feet, knees or hips when running with these shoes. They truly "disappear" on my feet. Running has never been so much fun!

I have used this shoe for years and I always end up going back to them. I've tried Mizuno, Brooks, New Balance and other versions of Saucony and I always find these are the best for me. I weigh about 300lbs and these are still the most comfortable shoes I own. I play tennis in them 3 xs a week and they last a long time. This version is terrific.

Best running shoe I have tried...good support without the laces squeezing the top of your foot and great cushion for us larger runners....the Toebox that I have seen come onto question on a couple of reviews for me was great I wear size 14 and it just left a little room by my pinkie side which works for me ...glad I made the purchase

Got my first Saucony Triumph today. Has run in Asics Nimbus for the last 15 years. But after the first race I probably got a few new favorites. Very nice shoe and wonderful comfort. Delivery took an extra day. The runner emailed me and talked about the delay during those Corona times so it was totally ok. Will buy from you again.

I sincerely recommend these sneakers !!! I recently had an ankle fracture and we were looking for some sneakers that would cushion well. I searched the internet for specialized stores and received this recommendation. a total success. running starts soon :) I received sneakers in exactly 7 days (according to estimates)

These Saucony Triumph 17 shoes were not what I expected. They do not have the cushioning that the brand indicates, the previous version (Saucony Triumph ISO 5) has more cushioning, they are more comfortable. Saucony Triumph 17 are good shoes for those who don't appreciate cushioning, the touch on the road is harder.

These were my first pair of saucony trainers. I was a bit apprehensive when putting them on as they were a little more 'plush' than I was expecting and i was not sure of the runnign credentials BUT - very comfortable for a run (I did 10km with them out of the box) and with good rocker action - nailed a PB!

My first pair of Saucony tbh. Maybe not as trendy as Nike in terms of design or outlook, though it is definitely a comfy and supportive running shoe. Vs my previous one Hoka Clifton 5, I found triumph 17 gives me better support in both my interval and long run sessions.

Good shoe and had to get the wide 10.5. Was worried about the foam since it looked thin but it's very soft. Has good bounce to build momentum and the foam isn't as exposed on the bottom so it seems like it'll last. I run 10 mile runs with these and no problem at all.
