I was looking for some more cushioned trail running shoes for my longer runs and after some advise in a Salomon outlet bought the Sense Pro Max. It is a great shoe. The toe box is wider than on my Speed Vario 2 which is great for longer downhill sections and when your feet start to swell up. The cushioning is very good without absorbing too much energy or giving you an unstable footing. The shoe is great for hard packed surfaces but struggles in mud or on wet slippery surfaces which was expected. Absolutely in love with this shoe! However, only 4 stars as I'm not the biggest fan of the quick lacing system, I'd rather have normal laces.
