After about 200km of hiking behind me, I can only give this pair of Salomon trail runners my warmest recommendation. They are light and comfortable, the material does not show any signs of fatigue and the Quicklace system makes pulling in and out immensely easier - which makes frequent breaks on long tours pleasantly easy. I am completely satisfied and will probably stay with Salomon in the future. In 1-2 years it will be the turn of the 'Ride 3' ~ For my usual shoe size of 42, I chose the EU 42 2/3 version and I'm happy with it, even if a size larger (43 1/3) might have been perfect. I therefore recommend buying 2 sizes above the usual size.

Took a gamble when I bought these, needed some trail shoes capable of running marathons. I didn't really want to spend a fortune as I'm a road runner at heart but these converted me! These trainers feel like a daily road shoe, durable, comfortable, supprisingly light & look great. I wore them just once before choosing them to be my trail marathon shoes as I just knew they were not going to be a problem.If you're on fence with these just grab a pair they're cheap enough to gamble on and you just might be pleasantly supprised! (I was v close to buying the s-labs, glad I didn't need to spend the dosh now!)

Good quality running shoes, well-made and should last me a long while. The no-tie laces were an interesting surprise but they work pretty well. Nice and comfy although I only run for around half an hour at a time.

Not as cushioned as my previous shoe but nevertheless gave me no problems on first hilly 9 mile run, mix of road & trails. My first Salomon shoe, too, so I'm confident of buying them again.

The shoes are simply great, they are comfortable to tie and you can spend hours running with them, Salomon has never failed me in this regard.

Very happy with the shoes. The only thing that according to the size chart recommended us a 40 and we bought a 42 and are fair.
