I love these shoes so much for how light they are. I havent taken them in the water but i can already tell that the mesh would help them drain water effectively. Ive taken these shoes trail running and hiking about 2 times a week. Usually about 3-7 miles and theyve held up great. They dont have as good of a grip as proper hiking shoes but i havent slipped very much compared to a pair of regular running shoes. There is not a lot of cushion and honestly I prefer that! I can feel my foot against the terrain much better but It still protects my feet from rocks and whatnot. I bought a second pair because aesthetically I think they look great.

The salomon are sure values, this model (white and gray) made for high temperatures is well ventilated, only downside, the mesh upper is transparent, so white socks are obligatory. These sneakers have a flexible heel, can slip on for a moment
