What's to like? Pleasant nose, slight spiciness. On the palette, smooth & (too) easy to drink, a light fresh celery like spiciness with a reasonable medium length finish with a hint of natural molasses sweetness.On the flip side, this is quite a light rum and had I tasted this blind, I would have incorrectly guessed: Cuban!It surely is one to try, but fans of heavier style rums might be left wanting a little more.

Yeah, but Zacapa have to add 20g of sugar ( 5 teaspoons) per litre to bring out it's flavour. This one has been aged and skillfully blended in small oak barrels that bring out it's unadulterated flavour.
