I buy this for my pomeranian, who is 3 years old and 3kg.I decided to buy this as he'd put on a little weight and I like that you simply give the same amount which is less calorific, and over a few months he did indeed loose the excess flab with a few extra walkies.He is a fussy eater. He usually eats all of it, otherwise putting some hot water on it and draining it guarantees it will be gone! The kibble size is good for a pom, he still crunches it though which I suppose is better for his teeth (some others are so small he swallows whole).Good value at £9-£10 for 2kg - esp with the free shipping as I don't have a car to get to a big pet store and live in central London.

This is great treat for Chihuahuas and other small dogs, just the right size and being lighter in calories you don't have to worry too much or feel guilty for giving a treat or two if using them for training.They are easy to eat small round circles with a hole in the middle. My two love them so much it's become their main food instead of wet food.Brilliant for travelling whether on a train or bus or for car journeys or even leaving some at a friends you visit regularly so you don't have to take food with you.And they are very good value too.

Perfect for my Maltese. He is young, and following castration, vet suggested he might be prone to weight gain. I was using Royal Canin anyway, but decided to go for the 'Light' version and feed him two small portions per day. RC is a complete food, easy to measure out without mess and never any waste. It is almost odourless and easily stored. My dog is always keen to get his breakfast / dinner and never leaves anything. He loves it.

I bought this for my little fat dog to put him on a diet.He of course didnt know it was 'diet' food, but he wasnt so keen on it. Plus the normal food is 23 portions and the diet food is only 18 portions, so it is not as good value for money.As with humans, I dont think dogs think "wow, now I can eat more dog biscuits as they are less caloies" I will stick to the normal mini dog royal canin in future.

We have used this product for the past 18mths and found it excellent and acceptable to our fussy shihtzu. However when trying to renew our purchase we find it has gone up in price by £7 for a 2 kg bag. We always paid £14.99. Why such a huge hike in the price??. Indeed our usual outlet 'petsathome' only stock 3kg bags for £25. Which is useless to us as it's too much.

Having a bunch of overweight Chihuahuas I try to blend this into their diet. Frankly its not their favourite so I mix it with Royal Canin regular biscuit.Its nice and small for the little dog and I've always felt that Royal Canin is a good quality product, a bit on the expensive side but I hope thats due to use of high quality ingredients

i have given my dog these biscuits for 9 mts now.he loves them & eats them all up never leaving any.My vet is very pleased with his progress,he is a West Highland Terrior & very fit,full of energy & stamina.These biscuits are also very good value for money.I would definetly recommend them.

Ordered for parents dog, good value from amazon although a well known store sometimes has similar price three bags are required to match amazon's value therefore we elect to purchase online as only one bag required for a few weeks meals and like to keep as fresh as possible.

My chihuahuas love this food. They were on bakers but it caused them to have diarrhoea and 1 of them was sick every day. But since being on royal canin it has cleared up. Also they needed to diet so this is good.

I really only chose this item due to the price point and it seems to do the job quite well .My Bichon has many allergies that are made worse my certain foods and this doesn't seem to irritate .Would recommend .

I have bought this for my little black pug Angus, I need to get his weight down , I hope this Royal Canin weight control willHelp me to do this along with some gentle exercise. I am pleased with my purchase.

Pugs have lost weight using this product and seems to suit their digestion. More expensive that normal pug version of the food and not sure why this should be seeing as it is supposed to have less calories!

You just can't beat Royal Canin and the Mini Light is ideal for small dogs. It seems easy to digest and you can always add it to their food without overfeeding as it can easily be weighed.

Our dog was overweight and as she had ruptured her cruciate ligament it is important to keep her weight down. So far it is working since putting her on this food , also she likes it

Very pleased so far my dog really enjoys it. I shall have to try it a bit longer to see iif he loses weight. As my dog is a fussy eater I would certainly recommend it.
