I was recommended this by my vet and it was brilliant for my dog who sadly had lymphoma which had taken a very long time to diagnose. At the point of trying this tinned meat my pug was severely underweight with cronic diahorrea. Finally this was a food she could eat and have more solid stools. It looks awful, doesn't smell great, i'm not a vet/ dietician but it doesn't sound like great ingredients ( I stopped buying regular royal canin a while back after reading reviews and recommendations on canine nutrition). However it was fabulous for my dog for the few months I had her after diagnosis. Also used biscuits which my well dog also ate ( vet said this would be fine) I think the steroids helped her want to eat this, she went off it in the end but im sure it bought me more time with her so can't rate it enough overall.

My 15 1/2 year old Westie had tummy troubles and anything he did eat seemed to have affect him badly. Over just a few days he was really starting to lose weight. We got some anti inflamatories from the vet and with her approval tried him on Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal and I must say that A. He seems to enjoy it, and for the first time in a while we had a clean dish, B: For him it does seem to work and he seems much better on this food. We're now feeding him little and often 3 times a day to help him put a little of that weight back. Definitely worth giving a try.

Almost 15yr old Lab with the runs was advised to go on this (plus antibiotics) by the vet. The vet praised the food very highly and our Lab rated it as very yummy, her tummy problems settling within 24hrs. If your dog is not drinking enough water this is also excellent as it has a higher water content than many tinned foods and we added about half a tin of water to this food to so it became like a thick soup which quickly solved our dogs hydration issues too. Expensive but well worth it.

we've ordered this kind of food for our 8yr Bichon as she was recently diagnosed with accute pancreatitis. before she would have trouble holding down normal food and any snacks. this was the only food that was good enough to give her normal bowel movements and still give her the nutrients that she needs to be energetic and running around playfully in the park. even though she's 8, she's still a lot more energetic than most of the other dogs half her age.

I don't know that I actually love it, but Fred, my Basset, can't get enough! Sadly he has an unidentified gastro-intestinal problem, but my vet recommended the use of Royal Canin G-I food for him. Continued use of a mixture of this and the dry Royal Canin G-I food controls it well. I also use the dry as treats when we're out because anything elseat all has a tendency to be counter productive. It works for Fred so I'm happy.

My 9 year old Cockerpoo has now become Diabetic and now has to eat this wet food after having a home cooked diet from a puppyof freshly cooked chicken and fish. I was a little bit dubious about giving it to him but he loves it and so does my other dog who can't get enough of it!well worth the money and he didn't have any stomach problems changing diet. infact his bowel habits are even better !

This is expensive, but my diabetic dog likes it. I usually give him the dry food version, but use this twice a week for variety. I can't give him the full recommended amount as it's very bulky, and he can't get through it all. The quality is good, and the smell certainly appeals to my dog. My vet also recommends the product - both this version and the dry food.

We found this to be an excellent product to keep our dog healthy following a bout of pancreatitis. She has remained well ever since. She has just turned 12 years old and I am convinced this product helps to keep her fit and well. It is expensive but if you shop around you can save as much as £50.00 a month.

All items ordered to date have been delivered just as you quoted in some instances earlier definitely no complaints from me.Just one complete aside our post lady has commented on how heavy the cans of dog food and dried food in one box is rather heavy.Apologies to her from our end so far have been ok.

I use this one if my dog has an upset stomach and find it very effective. Also used when he has had to have any procedure at the Vet's as it is nourishing but very gentle on the stomach. My latest delivery from AEN was dealt with efficiently and well before estimated date so I was VERY pleased.

Ernie was first prescribed this food by vet to help him recover from acute hemoragic gastroenteritis, he was very poorly. This food really helped with his recovery after treatment at vets. Bought it again recently to help with mild diarreha as rice & chicken wasn't working, worked a treat.

They are, what they are!Had these from vets when doggie has loose tummy. Usually only need six tins to sort her out.Handy to have a stock - so can give her as soon as she gets runny tummy.Would seek vet consultation if went on for a few days, but this has always worked for our puppy.

My dog has had pancreites for over a year I started her on this food in march and she is like a different dog her bowels are back to normal there is no rotten smell no more when she breaks wind and she has loads of energy I highly recommend this food wish I found it earlier

My dog really loves these and they arrive quicker than when I order through my vet (despite being in the Republic of Ireland). Switched her over after she got pancreatitis but will probably keep her on it forever since I'm so paranoid about her getting so sick again.

I love the fact its healthy and good for my dogs, however (and as most of us pet owners know) our spoilt dogs tend to be fussy. I do find they tend to sniff and leave it but will preserve and will be getting this product for my next puppy or two (in the near future).
