Elderly cat stopped eating and has refused any food or water. Have tried every brand of cat food from the vets and supermarket.She would keep this one down and not fight me so much when syringe feeding. It smells like vanilla protein powder that bodybuilders have. Yummy and not nasty like many other pates.A pack of 50g mixes 180ml warm water gets me 200ml of feed and about 250kCals.My cat only has the patience for 4 syringes at a time 40ml and medicine administered between syringes. Anything more she'll feel nauseous, you can tell by cats licking a lot and rubbing their faces and walking funny.My cat is 6kg indoor cat and this helps maintain her weight.

My elderly cat is extremely fussy with food now and is getting very skinny because although he eats, he doesn't eat enough. I have just started giving him some of this powdered food as snacks in between meals which ensures he is getting some nutrients into him. He likes the taste although it smells a bit like powdered baby milk... well from what I can remember anyway! Not sure if it is helping him put on weight yet as its early days but the vet today approved it, so I will carry on with it as well as a variety of different wet and dry foods to try and entice him into eating. It certainly won't be detrimental to his health anyway. So far so good!

This product is always my Go to fall back plan when I have cats/kittens off their food, or need to be weaned from mums. It smells so good I’m almost tempted to try it, lol. Imagine farleys rusks for babies.....l but with the smell of malted milk... think malteasers. Now you can understand why it’s so irresistible to them. Plus nutrionally it a perfect food... I suppose you can call this the complan for pets, but the smell is far more tempting. Pets feeling poorly will only eat if it’s absolute food bliss for them. This is that product! Been using it for over 12 years and it never fails when it’s needed.

Absolute everybody in the ferret community swears by this product (RCC as we call it) for sick ferrets. Ferrets have a remarkably short gut and cannot store energy like animals can, but need a carnivore diet. So after only a few hours of not eating, they can go downhill fast. RCC is a fantastic food for a sick carnivores - can be syringe-fed or given via a bowl if they will drink it. Most ferrets love it.Most people recommend a tablespoon of RCC powder with 20mls of water, 4-6 times per day, as this will get plenty of fluids into them as well as nutrition.I hear it's also good for cats ;)

Used this food twice, while my senior dogs (both age 12) were very poorly. One with inflammatory bowel disease and the other pneumonia (they would not eat). This is the only food they would eat. It was a lifesaver. A real lifesaverAnd in an emergency, Amazon " Prime" was up to it's usual high standard, with next day delivery. So any senior dog owners out there just remember this product.

Our dog, Oscar had been very poorly with prostate problems and had lost a lot of weight. He was not interested in his food and a friend told us about Royal Canin. Oscar now has a mixture of food supplemented with Royal Canin and it has certainly put a spring back in his step, he has also put some weight on. We are going to continue using this for as long as Oscar feels he needs it.

Fabulous product for ferrets. My older ferret has cancer and goes off his food now and again. He loves this product and laps it up well. I am confident he gets the fluids and nutrition he requires ie in between eating his ferret kibble. The packs of 10 works out cheaper than buying from the Vets.. Recommended...

Fabulous product used for our poorly puppy. She loves this formula and thoroughly enjoys the taste. Full of all nutritional elements and we always keen some in stock if she goes off her food as it’s a wonderful product which actually saved her life when she had hypoglycaemia.

this product saved my border terriers life, she would not eat after she has pre eclampsia and phneumonia, until we bought this product as recommended by a vet physio/nurse.It worked and she is now back to her old self and bringing up her pups.now 6 weeks old.

I have used this product before for a very sick dog who had no interest in eating. this was bought for an animal rescue and has made a considerable contribution to the dog's recovery.Worth every penny!

Really reccomend , fast delivery, good packaging to protect the product. As a product the best for my elderly pets, good for their digestive system, and keeps them healthy and happy.

Use this when my ferrets are poorly and it really boosts their weight. Sometimes they don't like it so I add complan chicken powder to it too which they love xx
