molasses rum, made in peru by an italian-owned label. simply unmissable if you like soleras, spanish style rums. incredibly deep, round, sweet (but not sweetish) taste, with an infinite burnt sugar aftertaste which permeates the whole glass ... it's a pleasure simply to sniff the empty glass :)!an incomparably better and more complex and elegant rum than even the costlier of zacapas (beats hands down the zacapa XO, really no match here).(btw, i tried too the XO version at twice the price, but all in all i tend to prefer the 15 reserva for its fuller body. the XO is subtler, of course, with a more alcoholic and lighter nose, but i prefer the heartier roundness of 15 reserva).unreservedly recommended unless,

LOOKED AT THE REVIEW FOR THIS , AND MUST HAVE THIS FOR CHRISTMAS , GREAT CHOICE , EVERYONE THOUGHT THIS RUM HAD THE EDGE OVER OTHER RUMS WE HAVE TRIED , REALLY SMOOTH AND WILL ORDER ANOTHER SOON , LOVE THIS RUM OVER ICE ONLY

This is a delicious rum. Don't hesitate - buy it.I love Ron Zacapa for it's sweet smoothness and this didn't let me down. I was having a glass and felt the need to write this review.

Love this Rum.... great value sipping Rum that is easy to drink with or without ice... so smooth and sweet for the money! It is a permanent member of my collection now!

I'm not a rum drinker but bought this as a gift because it was a bit different to the usual stuff I find in supermarkets.My Dad loved it, so would def buy again.

This rum is truly something else. I would positively compare it to many fine Armagnacs I have enjoyed in the past. Totally unexpected pleasure.

Up there with the best of rums. Pussers 15 year old is its only competitor that I`ve tasted so far.
