A review from the wife... This lipstick has a lovely consistency and is very easy to apply uniformly across the lips. I found that I needed to prime my lips with some lip balm as it did tend to dry my lips out. It has a nice almost chocolatey smell when first applied however this dissipates after a few minutes. I used the Spice version of this lipstick and the colour was definitely a lighter pink than I expected from seeing the pictures. It is however a nice enough colour and subtle enough for everyday wear. I found that the lipstick did not really last very long, certainly not the eight hours advertised, perhaps two or three hours at most.

Revlon International Corporation Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse, Spice is a very nice lip product which is applied using the applicator which is attached to the lid. I do like this lip mousse as once it applies it goes on very well, providing great coverage. It dries to a matte look which can be glossed up using a simple lip balm.I like the fact it does last well as it does not come off with simple drinking and eating, it needs a good cosmetic remover to fully remove it from your lips so be prepared for it really holding on to your lips.I tried using it different ways, e.g. using it with lip balm or even applying it twice, blotting in-between each application.

Colour: SPICERevlon International Corporation Ultra HD Matte Lip Mousse, SpiceI love this type of consistency lipstick because it's matte, soft yet non-greasy, (I hate glossy or moisturizing lipsticks which make my lips oily & sticky). This is exactly as it says, it has a mousse like quality, is soft yet matte (therefore non-drying). It has a wand applicator.It has good staying power, if you drink or eat, it slowly comes off & needs reapplying. The coloyr Spice is a rich Mauve colour, not too dark, not too light. On my darkish lips, you can see in the photo. I'd say this is perfect for a brunette, with medium light skin,

I genuinely never been a lipstick person before. I’ve almost never bothered but this has changed the game. I can’t go out without it. I got this lip mousse in a free gift set and I tried it thinking I’ll just end up passing it on to my daughter and I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t normally buy anything remotely close to this colour but it looked GOOD and the consistency is unreal. It’s like spreading the lightest fluffiest smoothest icing on your lips. It’s so so light and smooth yet so beautifully pigmented and lasts hours for me!! Also, side note; it smells really nice too!!!I’ve started experimenting with colours since getting this and I’m very very happy.Going to get all of the

I really love the soft mousse texture of this lip colour - it applies easily and feels soft, comfortable and lightweight on lips, you can just forget you're wearing it. It also lasted well on me through a few drinks and food. It's so easy to top up, too, as you can use either the applicator or just a finger. And it removes with micellar water with no scrubbing or dryness.The colour (spice) is much pinkier/browner and generally paler than it looks on here - so I'd recommend checking out shades in a shop before buying.

To be honest, I am not normally keen on lipstick which you apply with an applicator, but I love this. It applies really well and is a lovely colour – I would agree with other reviewers, in that it is lighter than the product picture, but I think it’s extremely nice and a good, everyday lipstick.This stays on well and doesn’t need to be constantly reapplied, like some lipsticks. I like the matt style and the fact it doesn’t dry out your lips. An excellent, everyday lipstick, which is good quality.

What's not to love about this. I would buy this based on the packaging shape alone. It's a flattened large pill in shape and feels great in the hand, I didn't expect it to feel so well designed in the hand but it does.. The actual lip colour is a matt look but not drying like some and is a glorious deep dark shocking look at me colour.. If you're bold and confident then this one is for you.. It lasts well and applies well and did I mention its funky packaging?

I like this, although lack of staying power prevents me giving a five star rating. It smells lovely and has a pleasant taste, with a heavy-side-of-nude colour that will suit day (if you blot) as well as night. The lozenge-shaped bottle opens to reveal a sponge applicator, which holds a lot of the lip colour, so careful as you go or you will end up with lips caked in the product. The pity is that it transfers quickly, particularly if you eat or drink.

I'm a sucker for lovely packaging and I really like the 'bullet' shaped design of this applicator lipstick. The colour is ideal for day into evening and I found it even complimented my pale skin. The colour is very matte in appearance but I have worn gloss over it a couple of times for a different effect.It lasted reasonably well when I wasn't eating or drinking, but would need reasonably frequent reapplication of you were out for the evening.

This comes in a glass pot with a sponge tip applicator. It has a nice creamy consistency and goes on smoothly. As promised it is matte. I received the shade Spice. This is a very wearable terracotta brick red ( it's in the orangey-red spectrum). It claims not to be drying but I find it a tiny bit drying and need to put a little bit of gloss over the top for comfort. It stays on quite well but needs to be reapplied after eating. (Auntie B)

This is a nice mid-range lip colour. As the name suggests, it has a moussey texture - creamier than a gloss but not as thick as a lipstick or balm The sponge applicator makes it easy to apply, especially if you don't have access to a mirror, and it dries to a matte finish.It does transfer onto cups and glasses but there was still a fair bit of colour left after eating a meal and the Spice shade is a very wearable pinky/brown shade

A fabulous, easy to apply lip colour. it's matt and can be left that way for the day, or a touch of gloss slicked over for shine. The colour is a warm but dulled down red that will go with many shades of rust and burgundy. It's a strong colour, but it resonates rather than screams and can be worn for the office or a night out. I shall definitely be looking at more colours in this range.

I really like this lip mousse type lip stick. Although it's matte, it doesn't dry out the lips like many other makes. It's really easy to apply using the sponge applicator and the colour is deep and vibrant.Stays well, for a couple of hours at least and didn't bleed into the lines around my mouth at all.Compact and well packaged. Will certainly buy more colours from this range

This is a great lip colour that goes on easily with a sponge applicator. It's quite thick but stays put and sort of sets to a long lasting matte finish. It didn't last all day, but it did stay on after a meal and a drink. What i like about it is that when the actual lip colour comes off, it still leaves your lips with a red stain which still looks good at the end of the day.

This is really an ultra matt lipstick, with a velvet like texture. It applies easily, giving a very defined shape and intense colour. There is a coffee/sherbet type smell and taste as it goes on but it does not linger. It lasts well, not bleeding - you are aware of having it on though as it is not at all moisturising. Great for dramatic effect, nice to have.
