These lipsticks are ideal for anyone who likes to have soft-feeling, moisturised lips. These feel like having a lip balm on and have a very smooth texture that doesn't dry your lips out at all.The colour is very pigmented like a normal lipstick and goes on with high impact. It's not sheer like a lip balm; it just feels like one. The colour is just as full on as any other lipstick. The shade range is very nice, with something for everyone. The nude shades are very flattering and creamy. They are easy to wear every day because they are so comfortable and there's one to suit every skin tone.I'm personally not such a fan of the bolder shades. They do look lovely and full colour on the lips. But the issue I have is that I feel the formula is too creamy for bold colours. I worry that they will smudge on my face or get all over my teeth. They would be perfect for anyone that does love this finish though. The packaging is also very nice and feels like it'd cost more money than it does. I love the colour!I don't love the smell of these lipsticks as it's quite strong at first but thankfully it wears off after a while and I can't smell it anymore. This is a great budget option for anyone who loves creamy lipsticks that are very pigmented. I highly recommend trying out some of the nude shades, which are my favourite

Tried by my wife, who – as only an infrequent user of lipstick – liked it more than she expected.“I am not one usually for lipstick, as I dislike the feeling of it on my lips, and have to remember not to disturb it by accidentally rubbing it off by mistake. This one is different. It stays put very well, and is not heavy, so I cannot really tell I have any on.It is a lovely colour, Coral, and it feels very good on my lips. When I wiped my mouth with a napkin after lunch, there was still enough colour remaining to look as if I was wearing it. It feels rich, creamy and luxurious, not bad at all for something so reasonably priced. It is quite thin and is more like a thick pencil than a normal lipstick. The lipstick is already slightly angled for instant, easy and accurate application. It smells lovely – I’m not sure what the perfume is but it is very pleasant indeed, but does not taste of anything. To raise the lipstick you just have to turn the tube and a short length just clicks up ready to apply. After the first click you just need to turn the bottom half of the tube to get some more length, no more clicking. The lid is fairly loose which is not a good thing for me as I tend to just throw it into my makeup bag, so I am wary of the lid coming off easily, hence the rating of four stars rather than five.”

For me this colour is one that is a natural looking one, and one that will go with skintone even my pale one.Loved the shape of it as makes it easier to apply especially around the top lip area gives it an sharper look than a thicker crayon or chunky wind up tube ones. Made my pout more defined with the angled shape of it. You can smell the aroma whilst in its tube I found and it smells ok but when applied to lips no fruity aroma then.Staying power better than I thought and yes had to reapply after a meal but with most lip colouring this is usually the case.It felt nice and smooth almost like a conditioning cream when applied to lips and no dry bits felt on lips later during the day.Two coats I felt needed for s smooth good coloured look. Love the fact that it's a thin tube so easy to fit into pocket. Would buy this one when it runs out as a colour (Dawn) that I think is great for everyday use. Maybe not evening as a more natural one and if wanting a dramatic deep evening colour then could be worth looking at others shades in the range. The one niggle I found was trying to get the cellophane from around it off, at least though you know it should have its shaped edge intact.

Ultra HD lipcolour in vineyard................This is a stylishly presented lipstick in a very wearable reddish/brown shade- 740vineyard. It has an 18 month shelf life after opening.Lipstick..........The lipstick twists up roughly an inch and a half from the tube in total, obviously you only need to twist up a mm or two when applying to avoid breaking the lipstick “lead”.It is a soft, creamy consistency which goes on to the lip well, with no dragging and gives a good pop of colour without the need to apply several layers.Staying power...............This is where it lost a star, I found it disappeared fairly quickly on my lips, and also left them feeling a little dry.....nothing a little lip balm can’t sort out but I did need to use some after having worn this lipstick. It was not up to the challenge of eating or drinking and needed re-applying after both.Packaging ...........This is beautifully packaged in a glamour metallic pink tube. It is light, so won’t weigh down your handbag/makeup bag and has a snap on plastic lid to protect the lipstick when it is not in use.

I am slightly mystified by the reference to a gel - this lipstick doesn't feel like a gel. It comes as a chisel ended stick in a slim container. Whilst applying the lipstick was easy, getting to it was difficult - I had to resort to a small box cutter to remove the outer film. It has a rich, creamy consistency, and I find it has a hydrating effect on the lips. Applying two coats, blotting in between, provides a good depth of colour. It doesn't survive eating, but whilst it leaves marks on a cup or glass, it isn't completely removed by drinking. I did find it better to use a lip liner - the lipstick does have a slight tendency to bleed and with the vibrant pink of this rhubarb shade,I did notice a bit of feathering without the lip pencil to give a defined edge. Somewhat surprisingly, it had a slightly fruity smell/flavour although it disappeared quickly. I have spotted that there is a nude coloured version which I think I'll treat myself to - the rhubarb pink needs more of a tan than I have.

Gone are the days when lipstick just came as a normal stick that you twist at the bottom so that it pops up, now you can get lipstick in all different shapes and sizes. The ‘Revlon Ultra Gel Lipcolor’ comes in something that looks more like a pen, but the actual process of applying the makeup is not much different. Where the difference lies is that it is a lipcolor and not a lipstick. Therefore, the ‘Revlon’ is like lipstick, but not quite. The makeup is a little softer and moisturising, but does apply easily. The soft nature of the makeup meant that it did come off a little easier than hardwearing lipsticks.I imagine that the simple application and moisturising benefits means that Revlon are hoping that you apply a little throughout the day.The ‘Revlon Ultra Gel Lipcolor’ is not going to revolutionise the market, but it is a solid option for someone who wants a lipstick type thing that can be applied very quickly. The coral colour looked as it should.

The colour reviewed was called 'Dawn" and was a classic pink. This colour suits me for daytime wear as not too harsh with my pale skin. The application was easy, with the twist pencil style applicator with positive click to told it back in place when finished with. Something I have not seen before and which I imagine in transit to shops or your home will ensure your product arrives in mint condition without loss of lipstick to the inside of cap.The texture of the lipstick was rich and creamy and it gave my lips a good amount of colour in two applications. The colour stayed on several hours and though there was some transfer to cup of coffee, enough stayed on that no reapplication needed till 4 hours ish later.I think this lipstick might be good in cold weather as it being a rich and relatively long lasting creamy based lipstick will help prevent lips drying out when out and about for a time in the cold.

My wife used this product here is her review. This is a wonderfully creamy lip colour. It looks more like a lip pencil than a lipstick and it comes in an easy to use twist up applicator with a slanted tip. The applicator applies the lip colour well. The gel lip colour is soft and creamy and covers the lips with a good amount of colour and gloss. The colour, Desert, is a natural pinky brown colour that will suit most people for an everyday colour. The lip colour contains an intensely hydrating formula and unlike many lip colours I have tried didn't dry out my lips at all. It has OK staying power I did feel that after a morning of drinking cups of tea and chatting the lipstick lost colour in the centre of my lips and was ready to be applied again.I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an easy to use moisturising lip colour.

Vineyard is an odd name for a lipcolour that doesn't really explain what the colour is. After seeing this on my wife's lips I'd have better described it as a mix of wine and fuschia, not quite deep enough to match a good red wine but lovely all the same. The creamy lipcolour comes in a long shiny pink tube with a clear plastic lid that pops off, revealing the twist top. It was applied easily and looked very good on the lips, certainly making them look moisturised, though my wife did say they didn't feel quite as moisturised as some of the other lipsticks and glosses she'd tried. Thankfully, this Revlon one had good staying power and managed the whole day without a retouch, too. It's worth noting that it also has a nice aroma, sort of mildly fruity.Overally, we were both impressed with the look and feel of this new lipcolour.

This lipstick comes in a twist-up pen-style container. It has a slanted tip and is quite easy to apply as it glides on smoothly, although if you are looking for a precise outline you'll need to use a brush instead. It feels really pleasant on the lips - very soft and moisturising, more like a balm than a lipstick, and unusually for me I found I didn't need to add any gloss or balm on top to make my lips feel comfortable. It gives a nice natural colour too, making it appear as though you are not wearing any lipstick. It does need reapplying every few hours or it has a tendency to fade in the middle leaving only an outline, but seeing as it is quick and easy to reapply this isn't too much of a problem.I'm impressed with the overall look and feel and will try out others in the range.

Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor 1.7g Vineyard is lovely to use lipstick and with the narrow long handle it is very easy to hold plus the narrow lipstick means it is so easy to apply as the tip of the lipstick fills the lip area but does not go over the lip area if applied correctly. It has a strong colour which certainly stands out when applied which is the main reason I do like it. This is certainly a lipstick which will get you noticed. I also like the fact once applied it does last, but will need reapplication throughout the day plus it is not a very moisturising lipstick compared to others I have used in the past.Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor is a nice lipstick and for the price,it has a strong colour which does not require a few layers to get noticed.Happy to recommend.

I really loved this gel lipcolour as for once the manufacturers have got everything I look for into one product.First ease of applying - the shape of the applicator meant that I could, if required, apply this with no lip pencil required with the thin side of the tip being firm enough to trace the shape of my lips before filling in with the flatter surface. Better still, even with use the shape has remained so that it hasn't become redundant after a few uses. The colour was perfect, quite natural looking and it felt so good on my lips - no drying out of my lips occurred at all and yet the colour stayed in place for hours longer than some other products and yet it didn't stain my lips.Top marksto Revlon - this is going on my shopping list

I don't typically wear lipstick because I become irritated by having to reapply and be careful not to disturb it by mistake. However, I was quite surprised by this lipstick. It has quite good staying-power and (if blotted with a tissue after application) did not easily transfer to a coffee cup or glass. This means it lasts better than a standard lipstick. It smells very pleasant and the smooth texture was good too.I have the 'desert' colour which I would describe as a peachy pink. I would wear this in the daytime as it is not too bright or garish, and not too dark. The shape makes it easy to apply and it can be tucked away inside the sheath easily too.I am looking at getting other colours inthis lipstick because I really like it!

I have used this lipcolor for several weeks now and really like it. It was easy to transport via plastic bag in hand luggage when traveling and also doubled up as a blusher. Easy to apply, it has a nice taste (almonds, I think?) and smells great. I did not expect it to stay in place too long as it has a semi transparent consistency, but reapplying was no problem and I prefer a lighter formula in the summer months. It also work applied over a more long lasting, solidly coloured old fashioned lipstick to give it extra gloss. I give it four stars, as on the whole I prefer a slightly more long lasting formula and denser colour, but for this time of the year it was great and would buy again for summer months and packing to go abroad.

I'm really fussy about the colour of my lipsticks and usually prefer to choose from testers. I don't like them too pink or too orangey so it was with some trepidation that I requested this one from my Vine list. I'm pleased to say the colour shading in the picture is actually quite accurate, I have the 'Desert' shade which is just about right for me, probably a bit deeper than coral but it certainly isn't orange! The angled head makes it easy and smooth to apply and although the colour didn't last any longer than most other lipsticks, it does have a moisturising feel to it. I'm really pleased with it and whilst I would take a closer look at some of the other colours in the range,I would buy this for myself in future.
