After reading all the positive reviews about the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (in Cruella), I was really excited to receive mine in the mail to try it out! My pencil was shipped the day after my purchase and even arrived a couple days before expected.At 645AM, I applied my lip balm first (eos - the ball shaped one) and then the lip pencil; it came on smoothly and easily - so far so good. I did notice some slight drying, typical with matte, and nothing that was bothersome or dry enough to cause cracks in my lips. During the course of my morning, I drank two cups of coffee and from my water bottle (one of those was with a straw) and went to check on my lipstick at 11AM and it was pretty dang near to still perfect.

I first found Dolce Vida at a store in the Mall. I was in a hurry but realized this pencil is much thicker than others I saw. Once I put it on, I also realized I should have been using a thicker lip pencil from the beginning. I love the smudging you can do with it( if you want full coverage) and that you can apply a gloss on top. But most of all, it makes my small lips look so plumpy, as it's very easy to apply. Just line right above the lip line ( the pencil is wide enough that you get color above AND on the lip line. So, no one will every know! I LOVE IT!

And I say lipstick because that's what I use it for. It's seriously the best i've ever had. It lasts long (only have to reapply a couple times if you wear it the entire day), and doesn't bleed. I got the Cruella color which is the sassiest red you will ever see; I get compliments every time I wear it. It is matte, which works well for me because I don't like the shiny look. Only negative thing I can say is that it does dry out your lips a little bit after a long wear, so I just put some chapstick on before applying

I absolutely love this lip pencil. It is like using regular lipstick only the application is much more precise because of the precision of the pointed tip. The color is a fabulous "red" with a slight leaning toward a combination of a touch of orange and coral. The matte finish is just right for my face and my coloring, I have a fair colored complexion with ash brown hair and blue eyes. It is a very complimentary color for me.

Finally found my mainstay lipstick! The Nars velvet lipstick rolls on smoothly and silkily, yet has the staying power I look for in my makeup products. I tried a few other brands to compare, smashbox failing most because of application mess and streakiness, and this one really performed best. Im glad I don't have to search for lipstick anymore. This is the one :)

This is a creamy, matte lip-colored pink that looks good on everyone. Really flattering-brightens the face just a touch and is so easy to apply precisely due to it's crayon shape. If you want to sharpen it, definitely get a Nars sharpener-they cost about 8 bucks and worth it. My only complaint is that I go through them too fast. It will be your go-to lipstick.

I wore this on my wedding day and it was GORGEOUS! (I'm 30 and had NEVER worn lipstick before! But, this totally opened up my eyes to the world of lip color!) I love the matte look, Cruella is the PERFECT red, the coverage and tay-put time was good, and I will definitely be buying more when I run out! LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I am a fair-skinned redhead, so finding a good red lipstick is hard. I found a blog that recommended the Cruella Velvet Matte Lip Pencil and I am in love!! Very flattering to my skin tone and hair and so easy to use!! I just ordered a second one, as a backup! Thank you for making such a great product!

I got this as a tester first from sephora on my birthday and inmediatly fell in love! It super smooth to put ob and although is matte it does not dry out your lips and stays on forever. Everytime i wear it i get tons of complimets !!! Def buy it,looks good on all skin tones

LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. Borrowed this pencil from my sister and had to buy one for myself afterwards. A little more expensive than I'd like for a lip pencil,but it requires very little product to obtain complete pigmented red color and this will last a long time.

Quite simply the best rosy pink neutral shade on the market. Very emollient, so does not last, sharpening difficult unless I freeze it 1st. Looking for a lip balm color I can like as much. No luck. Still love this and will still buy.

Amazing matt red lip pencil. It even suits copper hair and freckled skin tone. I love it. So easy to apply and lasts for ages without drying out your lips. It was dispatched and delivered very quickly, would recommend this seller.

Love this product. I am a huge fan of red lipsticks and have z large collection. I read this this was s superior product in a 'suits all' shade of red. It is and it does. Wearable, not drying, great colour and long-lasting.

This pen is very nice … we love it. Exactly as described with no issues at all. Shipping was great and arrived on time. My only negative comment would be that the tip was broken when it arrived but I simply shaped it down.

This pencil is a wonderful alternative to lipstick, or as a great base for it. This color is universily attractive on anybody. It lasts all day to !!It goes on smoothly and is creamy. Best lip pencil I ever bought !
