The Fokker Eindecker ("Monoplane") entered service with the German Air Force in 1915 and was the first fighter to be fitted with synchro-gear enabling the pilot to fire a machine gun safely through the propeller disc. This granted the type some superiority over Allied aircraft of the time whose pilots referred to themselves as "Fokker Fodder". The aircraft came in a number of variants, of which the EIII was considered the definitive version.I have now built (I think) all of Revell's WWI 1/72 scale fighters, except the
