Bought this for my little girl to clip on the end of her bed over the summer.It keeps her cool all night. It's surprisingly powerful for just a little fan, but not too harsh.I like the two speed settings, with most other fans with only a two speeds you usually have a choice between "tropical storm" and "why bother?" But this has got it about right.The clip as amazingly strong too! I have to use two hands to open it so there's no danger of it being knocked off of anything.The power lead is a good length and there are no gaps big enough for little fingers to fit through. Very pleased!

This is a godsend in the hot weather. I have it hooked onto my metal bed headboard, and just reach up to turn it off and on as required in the night. It is quite noisy, but when I can’t sleep because of the heat it is the only think that cools me down. I can sleep with it on, but only if it’s too hot to sleep otherwise. I’d definitely recommend it though as without it, some nights I wouldn’t have got to sleep at all. Especially useful if you’re a female who regularly suffers from being very very hot in the night!

Needed a fan for my sons bedroom and he doesn't have a lot of space plus he's in a midi cabin bed. This works perfectly as it clips on the side. I wasn't sure if the clip would open wide enough to clip into the wooden frame of the bunk so I purchased this with the stand, but it clips on perfectly and the plug reaches straight down.

I put the jaws clamp onto the actual fan assembly in less than a minute, plugged it into the mains and it’s nearly silent.At the moment it’s keeping a TiVo from Virgin Media, a blue ray dvd network player and Microsoft 360 games machine cool.And doing it quietly, worth every penny.

Bought for that 3 day heatwave we had back in August LOL. But seriously it is perfect for clipping onto my daughter's wooden bunkbed bunkbed frame and keeping her cool at night. Small yet quiet (fixed position only, no oscillating) it helps her sleep on warmer nights.

Bought 2 of these to clip on to bunk beds, have made things much more comfortable in the warm weather. The base included has come in handy as well when my kids have been doing other stuff in their bedrooms...

I was skeptical due to the negative reviews, however there is nothing wrong with this fan, especially at this price. In fact, I will be buying a few more for various uses ready for the summer!
