Having had one of these in my double glazed back door for over three years, it was looking a lot battle scarred. I have three cats and a small dog, so it was in constant use. It had lost the locking devices and part of the extension tunnel. I finally decided to replace it when the draught was getting a bit much. In fact I bought two, one as a spare.Overall it does the job. Yes I do think it's a bit flimsy and I would have preferred the locks to be white and a bit more substantial. But my oldest cat, a 13 year old huge black and white male job busts through any cat flap whether locked or not. I haven't found a cat flap he can't get in yet, on several occasions taking the flap housing with him around his middle!

Really really pleased with this cat flap. The price is excellent!! Have had it fitted into a double glazed unit so cats can have access to house and safe cat enclosure. If you are fitting to dg unit you need to replace the glass as the unit will break down if you cut into it. I live in rented accommodation so did not want to go through wall glaziers took measurements made new glass with cat flap cut in as a sealed unit (have stored other glass to replace if i leave property) The cat flap looks lovely would look even better if switches to open close were in white. It is slim line and looks good in glass, the glaziers said there would be no way they would be able to match the price.

I bought this as a replacement mainly as I knew it would be an easy fit! The first one I bought was easy to install in the wooden kitchen door. There is only so much you can expect and my larger, stroppier cat had launched himself at speed through the door and broken it. It still worked, but was taped up and didn't look great, so I bought the replacement. Ideal for larger cats (British Shorthairs) and a visiting Border Terrier didn't hesitate to use it either! For the price it is a good, simple product!

I ordered this as a replacement for the same model, which my cats have been using for years....it only needed replacing because my son's beagle tried to follow the cats through it, and it was damaged beyond repair. As the hole was already in the door, it was a simple procedure to replace the cat flap with the new one. Hopefully this one will also last for many years!

This is my 2nd flap brought, sadly after 4 dogs and 2 cats constantly using the 1st for 3 years the magnet went rusty and plastic mold lifted at the bottom. Really easy to install and I would recommend as my dogs charge through it, suits chi size and largest dog is a cross between Staffi and Jack Russell

This is my 4th Petsafe pet door simply because my JRT flies though it in Superman style - crash! every time. They last about 30 months of that on average.More work though with the first one as the door panel itself has to be cut.No complaints at all about the product.

Seems well made, has stood the measure of time. Fits my Norfolk terrier perfectly. This is my 2nd one. The last one’s door broke when the dog ran straight through it after seeing a fox in the garden! Not a manufacturing fault!!

the cat flap I ordered and received qite promptly . It is exelent value for money and both my cat and dog think so too.It was easy to fix by following the instructions.Really needstwo people to fix it but I managed by myself.

Product came quickly and as described. I have had one of these before but did not open the locks properly and my large cat managed to break the door going out. They do discolour over time but this does not affect the use.

I was really pleased with this item as our old one was really done I bit awkward getting the two pieces toline up apart from that no complaints looks good and my old cat has no problems with it would recommend

Only cat flap that fits a sliding patio door (that I have seen) and our patio door is the only option for us - this is our 4th one as we change it every year - purely for cosmetic reasons - very good product

Really happy with ithis product as it is ideal for my cockerpoo puppy and has been such a great help with her toilet training and her allows her the freedom to go out in the garden when she wants

4 way control offers great options - easy to use. Quite a firm closure which is great except as the cat got older it was more difficult for it to open the flap

Bought it to replace our old white one which had lasted about 7 years !I like this clear perspex option as it looks so good in our glass door. Great product.
