Bought specifically for day hiking after much research. Key feature is the ventilated back which, whilst limiting slightly packing the bag towards the bottom, is an effective barrier to sweating and also facilitates spreading of weight. Preferring a top loader this pack has 2 easily accessible zip pockets on either side of the hip belts and a pocket in the top section with another on the other side of the top section once opened. Integrated rain cover, trekking pole attachments, a vertical zippered pocket and internal hydration sleeve are all additional features making this a very complete bag for long days out. I bought this as I wanted a smaller size for day hikes - I have got the Stratos 36 which has plenty of space for a weekend/overnight hike but wanted something a bit smaller. Even though this is smaller it still has all of the features of the larger version. The trampoline back is such a winner in my book, not only does it stop you from getting the dreaded sweaty back but it also makes it so comfortable to wear for long periods, even with a heavy load. The amount of kit that you can fit into this is amazing yet it still feels perfectly balanced on your back. It does have a compartment to allow you to have a water bladder within the rucksack but I find this a great place to keep my seat pad and maps.

Sits well and full on the back. Ventilation is nevertheless very good. Fits perfectly, good adjustment possibilities. Left and right front pockets large enough; my camera and also smartphone find place (was prerequisite so I always go to the camera while walking). Hiking stick attachment is also very convenient, especially when you have to travel between places where you want to quickly feed the stick (e.g., climbing part). Side compartments are even accessible in the rucksack (eg for drinking bottles). Fixed lash system to open and close up very convenient. In short, perfect, I would not give it back.

I have used this for over 6 months heat and rain. It is very comfortable, the design stops sweaty back, and the shoulder straps are wide enough to spread the load.Main pocket capacious with two side bottle holders and two small zipped pockets on the waste strap.

The bag arrived promptly and I am very happy with it, after taking up walking since Lockdown as exercise this bag has come in really handy by me being able to carry all I need including a bladder from a camelback.Happy customer

Bought this rucksack as a day pack for hiking. Added an Osprey Hydraulics bladder and very pleased with a lightweight, waterproof and very comfortable piece of kit. Next dat delivery was on time, excellent service.

I purchased this product after my wife had purchased a slightly smaller . Osprey Hiking Pack. Very well made, fits very well and has some very useful pockets. Integrated waterproof cover is great

Fits very comfortably with nice aeration between the backpack and the body. small pockets are very practical. The top opening allows you to over-fill it if necessary.
