Purchased for a months back packing trip. I had done my research on many back packs and what appealed to me was the ease of accessing things like a suitcase. My only concern was if it would be comfortable without a good back support system that to loaders have.I was so happy that I made this purchase and saved money buying on amazon rather than direct with Osprey at time of purchase.I had so many comments from other travellers in dorms at their envy at ease of my unpacking n packing or accessing my stuff.I had no issues with weight on my back once hip belt was fastened. It travelled on many planes, boats, trains and buses and still looks as new.

I got this for a trip to Canada, and I was impressed with the capacity of the big backpack, the way it opens like a suitcase, the carrying options (backpack, top or side handle), and the way the harness straps zip away. As a backpack it is very adjustable so comfortable to wear (I am just over 5ft and small framed and the pack fitted fine). The daypack is a bit of a Tardis, it has a compartment for a laptop (it will swallow a 15 in ) and another for a tablet (takes a 10.5 in iPad Pro), still leaving space for books or items you need close at hand. the best thing about it is how it zips onto the big pack, or for more security,

Great size. I used it for a 2 week holiday in Asia, and it had plenty of space for everything, i'd definitely use it over a suitcase from now on. Would be more than enough for a couple months travel. Fits so much more than you expect. So easy to use, very comfortable straps including waist straps which when adjusted properly you barely feel the weight of the rucksack. The day pack attaches on really smartly to the front, making it easy to pack away, but the clips also mean you can have the rucksack on your back and day pack on your front to make it easier to balance the weight when walking around. The straps on the backpack also pack away so perfect for checked luggage to stop them getting caught.

Absolutely love this bag! Bought it for a two week trip to the Philippines where we were doing a lot of moving around and thought it would be better to take a bag like this over a roller case. It did not disappoint! Managed to fit so much in it, it was super comfortable, and the addition of the daybag was brilliant for day trips and also for taking on the plane as hand luggage.For the main hold-all, the fact you can zip-over the bag straps so they are easily tucked away for flights was brilliant - my partner took a bag where you couldn’t do this and it just seemed a bit of a faff at the airport to sort his straps before putting in the hold.So glad I decided to get this bag - can’t wait for my

This bag is sooooo comfortable on your back, has all the right tighteners on it and is the perfect shape for my arched back. I don't feel like it's slipping off, pulling me back or rubbing on my shoulders at all (with a heavy load packed into it too for a festival). It's surprisingly roomy, I was shocked at how much you can fit into it, and it's so handy to have the zippers open like a suitcase rather than having just a top opener. I got the darker green/turquoise one and love it, such a nice colour and design which is hard to find in travel bags. I highly recommend, will be taking it on my travels to NZ soon.

I'm 5'4 and have a small build, I used this for travelling Asia. The bag is a really good size and doesn't have the big bulky straps that backpacks for hiking have (which I hate) so it was really lightweight. The straps also can be zipped away easily which is great for airports and has handles so it can still be carried once its all zipped up. The small backpack is a decent size for using in the day and attaches to the front of the big one easily, for packing I really recommend some air tight travel bags to go inside for optimum space usage and efficiency once you reach your destination.

Great pack with lots of storage, it is great that you have two packs which means you can take a day pack if you’re just going out for the day or both if you’re travelling quite far.The daypack also clips to the front too which means that you can keep an eye on your valuables.Another great point is that both bags come with a lockable zip which adds extra security.The straps can be zipped away making it more ‘suitcase’ looking for flights and tucks away nearly under the bag - which also is a great place to stow away your extra rain cover.

I was concerned it was going to be too small but it's just perfect. A lot of room and very easy to access and take things out. The small one is quite small so if you're going hiking and need to take extra warm clothes or food it might be a bit small. I went to the Philippines with it and it had enough room for a hoodie, some food, a bottle of water, book etc. It's perfect to use as a carry-on and for the day.I wasn't carrying too much weight but it really felt very light and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Cheaper than some Osprey bags but still obviously a quality product. Materials feel quality and design of bag is clearly though about, unlike cheaper alternatives.The ability to fully open the bag from the side (like a suitcase) allows for easy packing. This also removes the need to fully empty the entire bag to find something from the bottom!Bag is easy to lift and is stable one on your back.Bought for family, very happy with the purchase and will be sticking with Osprey should I need any more bags.

Great size and fits well. Very sturdy. I am looking forward to using this bag.Disappointed with the colour. I ordered the grey mist. This is not grey. There's a very strong green tinge instead. If I had known I would not have bought the grey and would have opted for the other.Day bag is a great addition. If you leave it on it is not going to take up too much more room but a good size to take with you on the bus or plane. Has a protected area inside for the laptop.

Exactly what my girlfriend and I were wanting. We knew we wanted Osprey back packs for when we go travelling next year as they’re such good value for money especially when it comes to quality. We were going to hold off and get our backpacks closer to when we leave but seen these at a reduced rate so thought ‘why wait?’. So glad we made the decision to get them sooner. 10/10 price, quality and I’d recommend to anyone to buy.

I was slightly nervous buying this backpack as I saw a lot of reviews saying the daypack is too small and unusable. I'm not really sure what those people are trying to put in the pack because I was able to fill mine with a Canon camera and two lens, binoculars, my laptop, notebook, Kindle and more. The daypack is a great size in my opinion.

Purchased for my daughter who is very pleased with the ruck sack and added bonus the detachable smaller pack and side opening of the main rucksack making access easy.I cannot comment on use whilst travelling as daughter is yet to travel but initial view is good.

I've made several long journeys with this backpack and I'm delighted with it. I'm short (5' 0") but I can carry it fully loaded and it's comfortable to wear. It's very roomy inside, particularly if you use it with packing cubes which maximise the space.

The backpack is exactly as described. It’s very practical and zips up into a hand bag.The only downside that I see is that when strapped onto one’s back it wobbles while walking. So I don’t find it practical for long walks or hiking.
