This pack puts the technical in technical pack. It has lots of storage and organization, tons of customization, lots of useful little features tucked in here and there, and an air frame that makes carrying loads over distance as comfortable as is possible without anti gravity or harry potter level magic. The suspension really does its job of evenly distributing weight while keeping your back cool the majority of the weight on your hips. It also means scrambling or jolts are not transferred directly to your back which is nice on those more technical climbs and trails. It has places for poles, axes, small-medium sleeping bags, water bottles, hydration bladders, and random crap in the hip stash pockets. This pack is plenty big, with a pocket lid for even more stuff... note though that the volume is dependent on size according to the literature, with the medium being 65L and the small 62L without having them both to compare I can only say I never thought about the before. Assuming they'd all be 65L on smaller or larger frames. The frame on this is adjustable thought it takes a little pressure and knowing where to find the toggles. In general fitting and setting up this bag is a two person job. One glaring omission is that like most of the osprey bags I've used this one has no molle or similar webbing which I find very useful for little add ons like bino's or a compass pouch etc etc. This is somewhat negated by the shear amount of pockets and internal compression straps and compartments but still it would be a rather simple addition. A nice and increasingly common feature is the removable top lid for less weight or adding it back for more storage options and more volume. So far this pack has remained water proof in light rain and heavy sweat, but I didn't see anything about it being explicitly water proof nor did it include a a rain cover in any of the usual spots. Like all osprey gear it has a life long guarantee and like all osprey gear I've used they are built to keep you from needing to use it. While this pack takes a lot of investment to fully utilize and took us a few tries stowing our load in different ways, once we got it dialed in it payed dividend over our multi day hike in the sequoias. You just need a little patience and time to get it right before you're out in the elements trying to figure it all out.

Really so much to love about this pack. Extremely light weight and has an amazing array of organization features. Honestly, I thought this pack was going to be more of a day-hike kind of pack for a Mom of three who carries everything, but it's got me thinking it will replace my long-standing backpacking pack.I'm 5'6" so needed to make some shoulder strap modifications 'out of the bag' because the waist buckle wanted to sit at the top of my waist, which was very odd feeling. Also, I'm still trying to play around with the top portion of the pack, which was leaning forward into the back of my head on most of the adjustment settings I made. I don't like feeling like my neck will stoop.Moving back to the back mesh lining...can I say air circulation?I usually get so sweating with my packs in addition to back achy, but the design of this pack really has taken overall comfort into mind.I looking forward to summer hikes and campouts with my Cub Scout and family.

First of all, this is an unbelievably lightweight pack for the size and for the amount it can hold. This is well-made, as are all of Osprey's products, and has all of the features that one would expect in a backpack of this caliber. There's a hydration compartment, sleeping bag section, and handy zippered pockets on the side that are easy to access. Honestly, I love this feature. There were many features that I had to look up and figure out on my own, which was kind of a pain. A small manual would have been helpful. Also, the strap is way long, which happens with just about every backpack that I have owned, so that is nothing new. I did not have to adjust the harness height, and thank goodness, because I could not figure out how to do it. However, the overall design and look of this backpack is excellent. I have never owned a pack that is this functional and well-made. There is a learning curve, I think, but all in all, you will not be disappointed.

This is my first Osprey pack and I have to say I am completely in LOVE with it. Right away, the bag is GORGEOUS and so well made. Opening this baby up, adjusting it, (thank you to the other reviewer who posted the video) putting it on and exploring all the features is like Christmas morning. It fits like a dream, like it was made for me. And I am sure that I will be loving the anti gravity system even more once the weather really warms up. The shoulder straps are padded nicely and I really really love the small mesh side pockets and hip belt pocket. A little tag listing all the features would be helpful, especially for pack novices, but you can also just go to osprey.com.The website is designed well and shows you every inch of this bag and the features. It truly is an excellent pack that I expect to last me a long time

We are camping the sw coastal path this summer and I needed a larger backpack. We have hiked before but only 4/5 days. I am 5ft 6 and heavy!! I measured my back and got 15/16 inches so ordered a ws small. Spot on!! The hip belts and back ventilation make it sooo comfortable!! It literally hugs you. Full and ready to go it's still super comfortable and light - packed and repackaged to get correct weight distribution and believe even in a hot summer the back mesh will help prevent sweaty back!! Love and highly recommend aura ag 65l *****

I love this backpack. Its so comfortable and fits perfectly. It has so many features and I like the fact I can remove the top "brain " to reduce weight if space is not needed. I have only one slight criticism and that is that the belt pockets are not so easy to zip shut when wearing the pack. I find they stick and I have to twist awkwardly to do up. I'm hoping a spray of WD40 may rectify this as this feature is very useful especially o long hikes.

Since I've recently lightened much of my gear, this is now the ideal size for long-distance hikes. The anti-gravity suspension is adjustable to your torso length, the straps are all well padded, and it is the most comfortable pack I have ever worn.I especially like the hip belt pockets which allow you to keep your phone, some snacks, and other things to which you might need quick access. All that and it comes in rich colors.

I love the different compartments and technology! Osprey really put in 100% to provide an amazing pack. My only issue is that the pack is a little heavier (about 5-6 pounds) and the hip straps can be a little uncomfortable but otherwise I got the perfect fit and it’s amazing.

This was a comfortable backpack. I found the molded belt a little awkward to deal with at times, but once on it was nice & soft. I have boney hips I guess, and frequently would get blisters literally on my hips from pack belts, but never with this one. Worked really well.

I took this bag as my oversea bag for lighter travel and I was not disappointed. It has plenty of space for everything I needed and it was easy to travel with through cities and of my travel. I would recommend this bag without hesitation.

The Pack Is Beautiful!I love the color! So comfortable! I would definitely purchase for another type of travel pack. It just was too large for my specific travel plans. I ended up purchasing the women's Osprey Fairview 55.

It’s amazing and absolutely perfect.. except for the fact that I bought the wrong size. Just reordered. I can’t wait to experience awesome adventures with this pack.

I’ve used this pack on several long hikes and it’s been very comfortable. The woman’s small size fits my frame well. I’m 5ft 6.5 and a size 10.
