An amazing high quality backpack - really grips the hips - for measurements and sizes I suggest using the Osprey site. However it’s not for the lightweight crew as it does weigh a bit more which I believe has resulted in a very comprehensive pack. Overall great backpack: with the isoform hip belt, j front zip And anti-gravity backsystem making it my go to backpack for longer expeditions. For European hikers just be aware that the European backpack does NOT come with the daypack which I luckily found out before buying and doesn’t really affect me. Hope this is useful and happy hiking! P.s. a thumbs up is much appreciated!

Needed a big pack for a multi day walk where i knew there'd be no where to resupply,so i knew I'd have to start off with everything I'd need plus contingencies.Found the pack really comfortable and able to take a lot of weight. Only gripe is the European models floating lid doesn't turn into a small daysack like the U.S model.One important thing to bear in mind is checkout Ospreys size/fitting chart to ensure you get the best fit for yourselves.

Most reviews rated this as the top hiking rucksack, but very difficult to find in South Africa. Received within 5 days of ordering (generally takes 10 - 14 days to South Africa). Required some adjustment to find the perfect strap position. Just completed a 5 day strenous hiking trail, carried 20kg for most of the time, except for some pressure on the hips, felt quite effortless.

Probably the most comfortable rucksack I’ve tried- I’m long term camping/ travelling and so carry quite heavy loads (25kg+) and it feels much lighter on my back.The only problem I’ve had is the zip for the belt pocket ripped out- it makes me worry as to how strong the other zips are

What a great pack!! It’s absolutely perfect for what I’m looking for. Great build, thoughtful design, anti-gravity really works, and so many little places to store things. It’s great to have a pack that can hold so much! Might be all the pack I’ll ever need, totally recommend.

The top comes with a rain cover but is not a daypack or a fanny pack You can purchase daypack top from Osprey. It’s not on their website but if you call their customer service is terrific. It’s about the same price as the rain cover that comes with this bag.

Well made pack, ordered the European model, with shipping still much cheaper than u.s. model. Note, the top of the pack does not convert to day pack like the u.s. version. Not a deal breaker for me.
