Okami is a perfect example of why I think remasters are a great thing, this game totally passed me by in the PS2 days and if it wasn't for this remaster I would have probably never played it, that would have been tragedy as this is one of the most amazing games I have ever played, it does almost everything perfectly, the story is incredibly interesting and stays that way until the end, the characters are extremely well written and fun to interact with, especially your mini companion the travelling artist Issun who is now one of my favourite videogame characters ever, the gameplay is varied and constantly provides you with new things to do and the music is some of the best I have ever heard.I said above the game was almost perfect,

Many comparisons have been made to Zelda with this game because of the sense of scale, the ambition and the quality with which all of that is achieved in Okami. Okami is unquestionably a great game that you must play, it's the kind of game that if you don't like it then you should try to become the kind of person that will. In 2006 when I was in high school here in the UK, a friend told me about this new interesting-looking game coming out that he described as Zelda-like, but with old Japanese-style animation. Sounded intriguing, so I bought it on release. From the first minute of playing, I couldn't stop for the entire week it took me to complete it. Just wow. It's been burned into my memory ever since. It is criminal how more people have never even heard of this 10/10 masterpiece, let alone played it. A game takes a lot for me to feel it's a 10/10, but Okami certainly is that. I'm working towards my platinum after having played this originally in 2002 on the PS2, PS3 and Wii but this edition beats them all. I absolutely love this game and I am slightly biased but for a new player, it's definitely worth every penny. Especially for those who really enjoy collecting trophies as there are loads of collectables. The combat hasn't changed much although it does feel smoother and on the PS4 the graphics look amazing apart form the frame drops here and there. I highly recommend this to old and new players who love Japanese mythology and music, and a must for all animals lovers. Who wouldn't love playing as a wolf?Check it out, you won't regret it!

Ōkami is definitely one of my favourite games ever. This release of the game is the best yet. Finally we have the opportunity to see the stunning graphics and textures like never before. The game is so colourful and full of life. The unique Japanese inspired art style looks absolutley stunning. The controls are very smooth and responsive (the controls were very rough on the Wii edition and have been improved upon since the first release on PS2). The story is very immersive and interesting; being based on Japanese folklore and mythology.I highly recommend this game. The game will ensure you hours of unforgetable gameplay.

It's been around 10 years since I played this game and it's every bit as amazing as I remember it. Gorgeous visuals, great music, fun mechanics and for a character that never talks, Ammy has so much personality.If you've never played this game and you're even remotely interested in an action-adventure/action rpg, it's an absolute must-buy.The only con I can think of is that some people find the speech annoying (it's just sounds) but I always focused on the text so that never bothered me.One of the best time-sinks ever...

Okami has proven to be a much loved game, as it has been on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation 4. This time, it has been re-rendered in stunning 4k visuals. This is a gem of a game, with a really good story that drives the game play on. Although some people could argue that there isn't much difference from the PlayStation 3 version to the PlayStation 4 version, I personally think there is enough difference to make this a worthwhile purchase if you really love this watercolour 4K world.

This game is utterly enchanting! First played it on the PS4 and wondered how I'd never played it earlier!Very Zelda-like with open areas and dungeons to explore. You gain more abilities and weapons as you go along, which keeps things feeling fresh. Music and visuals feel unique and you get the satisfaction of reviving the landscape bit by bit.All in all, a memorable classic that I know I'll play again and again.

One of my favourite games of all time just got better , if you arent familiar with Okami it plays a lot like the Zelda games in a beautiful lush watercoloured gameworld which looks just as good now as it did when released on PS2 , a stunning addition to the PS4's swelling library of epic re-masters , an easy 10/10.

If you love this game, then by all means buy it. If you are hoping for some upgrades over the last-gen Okami HD versions, you are going to be disappointed. This is a really straight port of the PS3 version, they haven't done a Windwaker HD on this and the visuals are now starting to show their age quite badly.

One of my all-time favourite games. This is the 3rd time I have purchased it (previously PS2 and PS3). The HD remaster is fantastic! It hasn't aged at all in my opinion.If you want a funny and quirky RPG with lots of extras you'll love this. Definitely one for completionists!Issun grows on you I promise.

Played this as a kid back when it was released on the PS2, and when it was announced for the PS4 I just had to get it.It's still as good as I remember it, the music, the characters and story are amazing.I can say without a doubt that this was, is, and will be one of the best games I have ever played.

Beautiful puzzle game. A little disjointed when you leave the action to draw the attacks with the brush, but this becomes less apparent as you play. Sometimes a little annoying trying to figure out the next steps to advance the game, but all part of the fun!

anyone who hasn't played this - you need to. Everything from the art style, the battle system and the storyline makes this an absolute gem of a game. It's been wonderfully remastered for the PS4 now, so there are no excuses - play Okami!

Arrived spot on due time, this seller was great, the item came well packaged and in great condition, I can’t wait to play as I am a great artsy guy and this game has everything from action to story and great artistic gameplay.
