I read all the reviews, especially those that felt it was worth paying the little extra that these cost from the next down in the range to get a better quality sound. The sound is just right for my taste. Not too basey. I also opted for the over ear version after reading about comfort and sound leakage, my old set are on the ear. This hasn’t work so well. I find after a while some part of my ear, top rim or lobe, feels pinched, and needs adjusting constantly. I don’t consider I have big ears ?. The arch of the headphones could do with being rounder, less square. It presses into the top of of your head, and adjusting the sides doesn’t improve things as they are then too loose.

No other word but superb the sound from these are outstanding i have had several pairs these are far the best yes the ear cups are small but not uncmfortable bass is tremendous and deatail is great from a person who has owned top end seperates and listens through a pair of dynaudio speakers these are good i rhe ipod classic sounds great i cannot praise these enough and at the price highly recommended

I bought these to replace an old pair of Sennheisers that were beginning to fall apart, and was pleased to see that their quality was as good as ever. I listen to a wide range of music and speech and their delivery is always solid and truthful. Ignore trendy, expensive spobsored cans - these are the real deal.

These cans have too small a cup for even average ears, mine would be on the smaller size and they pinch at the bottom of my ears. That is why I've marked them down. Sound is good but a little thin. Bass is quiet reserved. Style is very good, understated as Sennheiser usually are.

Bought these to replace my old Sennheiser cans which gave good service for many yearsI listen to iPlayer/ movies and Spotify albums - so essentially for pleasure.I find the audio quality is excellent, and very comfortable to wear.Well worth the investment - highly recommend!

Comfortable and compact headphones providing excellent sound quality when I used them with a Kindle Fire. Good at blocking out other noise without having to have the volume too loud. Not flimsy but also not too heavy and easy to wear. A good mid price range option.

The headphones: Decent. No better or worse than any other I have tried in the price range. However, you usually get a bit more from Sennheiser for what you pay compared to other brands. The cable is really short, so I had to buy an extension.The Seller: Perfect.

Does exactly as the description says. Definitely worth the price tag, bass and treble are perfectly attuned and noise cancellation exceeds expectations

Well made headphones that have excellent sound quality. Bought these to replace my AKG 50 headphones...very happy that I did.
