Where to start on this product... I have always been a fan of Sony products, but when it came to sound they weren't my first choice as there are some other companies that for the same price that for me personally they come before Sony. I was very skeptical and took about a week to finally decide to purchase these, I mean it's not a lot of money but still, I don't like to throw money out the window. What caught my attention was everyone giving them such a high rating, with mostly everyone giving them 5 stars, it really made me wonder how good they really were for the price. So I finally manned up and took my chances. I anxiously awaited for these to arrive as I ordered them at the end of the week. They arrived in 2 working days. The packaging was simple, but good. Nothing very eye catching, but practical, but that's not what's important. I plugged these in and put some music on and let me tell you, WOW, I have never been more surprised and impressed with something, and yes I am easily impressed but still, I couldn't have been more than happier with these. The sound is perfect quality, the bass is great, the sharpness of the sound is not sharp where at high volumes it feels like it's going to cut your head open. Everything is just perfect. If I were to REALLY dig and try to find something wrong with these maybe I would say that I wish they could be louder so I can enjoy their amazing sound more, but they are loud enough. Also I haven't worn a pair of headphones in a while so these do cup your ears nicely but I just forgot how headphones feel, so maybe I wish they were a bit bigger around the ears. Of course a volume controller would've been the icing, but that's too much to ask for as they are already great as they are. I can't complain about anything for that price, if I wanted all my preferences to be 100% fulfilled I would have to look at spending a lot and even then I am sure I would be able to find something unpleasing to me.I highly recommend these to anyone, they are a steal for this price and even if you have a really good pair of headphones, these are worth to have as a spare or a secondary pair to have great sound and not worry about how you treat them as they were not expensive. Thank you.

I bought these as a gift for my brother and he tells me they're great. I've got the version without the remote but in white and I also think those are great - they definitely don't sound ~£160 cheaper than my Beats Solo 2s. The bass is strong and clear (ditto midrange) and they fold up into a much smaller footprint than my similarly sized Beats do.The only gripes I'd have with these is that they do feel a little bit plasticky and lightweight and that the headband doesn't have any padding at all - despite being light, they do noticeably hurt your head after a few hours of listening to them. Also, I think the highs are a bit muddy compared to other headphones I've listened to and I don't think they'd be great for gym use etc.as the headband is rather loose-fitting and it's definitely possible to shake them off your head. The noise cancellation could be bit better, too. If you'd never listened to better headphones than these you'd never notice these issues, though - I only notice as I listen to my Beats almost constantly.Bear in mind that I've been comparing these throughout to a set of headphones that Apple will sell to you for £170, so it's hardly a like-for-like comparison. Still, I think that they do compare well against them on merit alone - a remarkable achievement for a product so cheap. For ~£14 I think they represent absolutely outstanding value, even more so since they've lasted very well for over a year of continuous use.

I bought these headphones to use whilst in work, as I found I was listening to a lot of music whilst at my desk. I have a pair of Phillips headphones at home which I really like, but at £60 they were a bit much to warrant buying a secondary pair. My partner has a pair of Sony headphones, albeit a £70 pair, and I thought at £11 for the version with the inline microphone (which works really well, by the way) it wouldn't be too much to loose if they turned out to be rubbish. But they're not! For the price, they are really really good!I wouldn't expect superior sound quality, noise cancellation or a high range of acoustics from any product this price but the MDR-ZX110 give it a bloody good try. They're crisp, clear, comfortable to wear, built well and the rubber pads do provide a very rudementary audio cancelling feature; enough to isolate the amount of noise you take in to what you're listening to.Would recommend for light use - these are great. If you're an audiophile, you are likely to be disappointed but I'm not and I love them.

I bought these headphones for my sons age 14 & 12 to use with their phones and tablets. We paid £11 on the Amazon special deal for the headphones with in-line microphone.Verdict: a bargain at that price. What we like about them::1. Available in black or white, both look good.2. They are decent headphones, sound quality is great. Obviously you can't compare them to £200 pairs but at entry level these are great.3. Comfortable fit. The on-ear cups fit well on adults or children. Adjustable.4. Fold flat. The ear cups twist and fold into the headband to create a semi-circle for storage. The reviewers who say the folding mechanism is too flimsy are probably being a bit heavy handed,we've been using them daily for a couple of months now and had no problems.I recommend them.

Not as comfy as the Plantronics gaming headset with microphone that I'm used to, but I needed a cheaper headphone just for plugging into my electric piano, and this does the job. Sound is pretty reasonable. Not "tinny" and bass seems balanced. The ear pads are a bit small to me but once again this is from me being used to my Plantronics gaming headset which has a much larger ear pad that covers the whole area around the ear rather than just sitting on the ear like these ones do. They look good. Reasonably comfortable. Adjustable although not padded at the top which sits on the top of the head but this is quite a low end headphone so I wasn't expecting that. I would buy another one again if this broke.I'm quite happy with this for what I use it for.

These arrived promptly and work great. I am using the with a Motorola Moto G Android phone, so I installed the (free) Sony app and the little switch inline with the cable now lets me perform multiple functions, depending on what I am listening to (mute the radio, answer a call and skip a track are just examples.) The cable is a good length, allowing me to leave my phone in my pocket while I walk around. The sound is clear, strong and has plenty of bass and higher notes to offer a full range. When calling another, they can hear your spoken words clearly through the microphone inline with the cable. The build appears sturdy - only time will tell.I have just sent a link to a good friend for him to buy a set - that says it all!

Fantastic !!Bought these to replace my more expensive Koss Porta-Pro on ear phones which have already got sound issues even though they have had only light use . I am no sound technician but these are far, far better all round to my others which are now going into the bin.I only use them with my laptop but my music is a joy again . They dont keep background noise out but i wasn't fussed about that, they are comfortable on the ears and have plenty of adjustment, also marked L and R . Even the cable is better quality ( 82 cms from jack to split and 42 cms from split to ears )I think a very good purchase and if i had tried them on in a shop and heard the sound i would have paid a fair bit morefor themSo far cannot fault :)

I have Sony XBA 40 in ears and Philips X1 open headphones which between them total nearly £500.I Also have a pair of Sennheiser HD 449 which are about £70I bought the MDR-ZX110 for my daughter and I gave them a listen, and they in my opinion sound better than the more expensive Sennheiser! The sound is quite musical, with a smooth treble. Most cheap headphones have a nasty fatiguing fizzing treble. The detail is reasonable and bass adequate and are enjoyable to listen to. It obviously doesn't compare with my higher end earphones, but they leave the Sennheiser in the dust.A surprising quality of sound and build quality for the price.Well done Sony.It competes well with headphones in the sub £90 category.

They are very pleasant to use, it hasn't hurt my ears after using for along time.To control the volume must be done on the tablet/phone, not really a problem.I actually bought these because they have over 16k+ good reviews, I trusted the public and it payed off.The only con I can really comment on:They haven't made the Left and Right symbols easy to see, especially in the dark, so it can be a fiddle to fit correctly in bad lighting...My personal opinion Sony should of added braille or had the L and R bulge out to assist not only the disabled but people in poor lighting. That's everything I can really comment on, thank you for your time in reading what I had to say!Take care! ?

I bought these for use with my Switch as i hate the kind of headphones you need to stick in your ear especially if using fro and extended period cause they start to hurt. Anyway i got these for a good price only £9.99 and the are certainly of good quality the audio is clear and crisp and the bonus of a built in mic which seems to respond very well although i only tested the mic with Cortana on my laptop but it picked up the instructions correctly. They are very comfortable to wear and due to the design your ears don't get too sweaty like with a lot of similar products. The only downside is the lack of a volume control in line but i guess that's no deal breaker. Highly recommend.

For me Sony is the go to brand for decent electronics at a low price. I bought these as I've always used in ear headphones and wanted an alternative. They are very comfortable and produce a surprisingly good sound quality for the price. The only slight niggles are that the casing for the L-shaped stereo mini plug is quite large, which seems to be to house the tangle free cord which is a little thicker than I'm used to. The ear caps / covers? (branded Sony in the photo) are a shiny plastic, which does attract the odd finger print mark.Overall for £15 I'd be very surprised if you could find anything better and you could easily pay much more for very similar quality.

These headphones are great for the price, certainly better than anything ive heard for under £50, they are very comfortable, adjustable, and the wire is anti snag so doesnt seem to knot up like a lot of other headphones. The sound quality is great, lots of bass at the bottom end, and stays crisp at the top end even when cranked up, i must admit i dont listen to my music loud often, but they seemed to handle the increased volume well when i did.Being over ear headphones, they are good at both keeping outside noise out, and keeping your music in, (ideal if you are on a train).Overall, well worth the money, recommended.

Had to have a second pair delivered as the first was only playing from the left earpiece. I don't know if this is a sign of poor quality and of things to come for my second pair, or if I was just unlucky. The plastic, particularly headband part is of a low quality so they certainly don't exude a premium feel. That being said, what would you expect for £15? They sound great, are comfortable on the ear and do a good job of keeping my colleagues away :)As others have said, they lack a volume control, but that's not an issue for me at my desk, if anything it's one less thing to check if the sound isn't at the right level.

These headphones are compact and stylish, folding into a neat and compact size for storage and transportation. The sound is pretty much what you would expect for the price-adequate. The hard band on top of your head does get irritating after a long period of wearing (maybe wear a beany to cushion!) but are comfortable on the ears. They also effectively block out external noise, if that is important to you. Overall I would say a good product at a basic level, very usable, and I would assume that will last pretty well considering the manufacturer's reputation.

I have been looking for some nice pink headphones or a while now, when I came across this pair I just fell in love! After reading the reviews, I decided to give them a shot & for £15 I wasn't expecting them to compare to my Mum's partners Urbanears set. When they arrived they were just as cute as expected, I tested them immediately & the quality is not far off the Urbanears! I am SO impressed with the quality & sound for only £15. I suppose with Sony, you should expect good quality!Really happy with the purchase & the bonus that they fold neatly.
