I have utilised my MDR-ZX310 Headphones for 2 years now and the state of their condition remains exactly the same as when I originally purchased them. Yes, there are a few marks and scratches but it's expected. I have full confidence in knowing these headphones would be safe if they were thrown about.The sound quality is great and doesn't dissapoint me. The retractable feature on the phones makes it easy to store. These may feel flimsy but their build is sturdy. Highly recommended for those looking for a cheap alternative. Good for children and teenagers.

This is now the third pair of these headphones I have had.The first pair were fantastic, so comfortable, and the sound was amazing. They broke so I bought another. This time they were not as comfy, and felt like they were squashing my ears. The sound was just the same. I also took out warrenty on them. Just as well as the Jack broke off. So I'm now on my third pair, again not as comfy as the first pair but I do like the sound quality of the headphones. They are good for the price you pay.

I've been buying Sony ZX310 from Argos for a few years now - used to get the MDRV150. Using them every single day, for me they last over a year and fold flat in my bag too. When the wiring starts to go, I just replace it with the same. I've started to see so many more people commuting in London using the ZX310 this year. This pair I bought is replacing my current one, amazingly almost 2 years old and used heavily. Even better quality than before I guess! Worth the cost - wouldn't be without it.

The appearance is beautiful. The product is very comfortable and , as a girl with long hair, my hair doesn't get caught in any of the gaps or hinges. The design covers the whole ear so hearing sound is better. I enjoy the fact that I am able to adjust the size of the headphones. Also I love the idea of making the headphones foldable so it is easier to transport or to find a small place for them. As it said on the packet, the wires do not tangle and make a mess. I would definitely recomend.

Bought as a present for my wife & she loves themPractical & stylish with fantastic sound quality as you’d expect from Sony but there are a couple of drawbacks. The cable is 1.2m long as other brands tend to be 1.5m long & that 0.3m can make a big difference. Other issue is that they can get a bit uncomfortable when worn for long periods of time and can make your ears feel a bit sore but that goes after not using them for about 10-15 minutes. Overall, they’re definitely worth the money.

These headphones were purchased to replace a more expensive set where the wires from the jack broke a month after their guarantee ended! The Sony headphones appeared to be well recommended and good value for money, however, the plastic head cover on my bald head proved hard and uncomfortable. Stripping the leather coated foam cover from the failed expensive set and installing over the hard Sony plastic has cured this. Sony could,with advantage,consider doing something to soften the head cover.

These headphones were well priced, but the sound quality is very impressive, comparable to headphones costing many times as much. Very comfortable on my male adult head but wide range of adjustment means they also fit my 5yr old too, so she can borrow them if needed.Cable is nice length, perfect for using with PC, laptop, or as I have; a tablet on a plane journey.Originally I bought red, but they reflect and look quite pink so I chose blue, but all colours are ok and shouldn't put you off

Overall they are ok, just the maximum volume isnt as high as I'd like, i do aloy of bus journeys and these dont go loud enough to combat screaming children, however they are comfy and there is alot of noises you can't hear with them on. For the price point i think they are ok, i will probably be replacing them at some point with a better pair, but maybe i was expecting a bit much from them considering their price.In summary ok if you need something for now or if loud volume concerns you.

Mr Claus had graced our presence and delivered two pairs for my two daughters. I know the headphones were robust as these things usually snap without too much trouble. The price is good although not as good as Tesco where they are £5 cheaper total £15. All in all a sound pair of headphones that don't look cheap and performance is impressive for a low budget headphone. Sounds good then go buy a pair. Now Argos enter me to the £100 review prize and let me recoup the £5 back I was overcharged.

These outer earheadphones are fantastic. You can only wear them one way as they are shaped in a particular way ie the left phone has to go over the left ear (same for right) and they fit very comfortably.Long periods of use don't crush my ears as past headphones have done. They also abate external environment sound really well.The only issue I have is that they may not be as robust as I would like where the phones fold in which is how they appear in the box.Overall - very happy.

Great headphones - probably one of the best headphones that I have owned. I can listen to music or watch a movie whilst my wife sleeps. Great ear pads that stop noise leaking out.Very comfortable on the head - not too tight or too loose.I especially like the shorter lead on these headphones - no more having to bunch up the spare cable!I liked these headphones so much that I bought another pair for listening to my laptop, keeping the other pair for at my bedside.Highly recommended!

The sound quality is excellent (good frequency response of 10 Hz - 24 kHz) and the headphones are comfortable. The ability to fold up is a "plus". A small negative point, probably to be expected at such a reasonable price and presumably due to the design and construction, is that occasionally there are (physical) clicky/scratchy/creaky noises. I might not have noticed them but the first, faulty, pair was very bad on the right side - returned them and the replacement is considerably better.

These head phones look great, fit well, are comfortable and keep my ears toasty warm. The sound is not bad, but not great either. The bass response is good, loud and fairly clear, but the treble is sadly lacking oomph, and the whole sensation just seems a little flat. Vocals are clear, but could be brighter. A good equaliser is essential to get the most out of these headphones. The head phone jack is also a bit loose with my phone and will come out when slid into a pocket 4 times out of 5.

This product has great features they are light on your head sound is amazing ly clear. I got them for my son how is in his twenty's. he thinks they are comfortable and a great sound better than one of the expensive brands that he had bought .I also bought a pair for each of my grandchildren for their pads as some of the games they play can be a bit noisy . so they are happy with them no complaints of them and they are 4 and6 so I would say very good value so soot all ages.a happy listening

These are a great sounding pair of headphones, with good treble, mid-range and bass. For their budget price they are surprisingly well made and are comfortable to wear for extended periods. They do not quite have the clarity of sound compared to say, a £60+ set, but for the money they beat many more expensive headphones hands down. The cable doesn't get tangled, they fold away easily and the materials used seem very good for a budget pair of headphones. I can't fault them for the price.
