I wanted to get a charging dock that took the hassle out of keeping my controller charged... no more trailing wires, no more fumbling with the USB connector (I swear I get these the wrong way up more than 50% of the time, whatever the laws of probability say!).Most of the docks I found on Amazon didn't address the latter problem. It sounded like you'd still have to try to click some plug into the port. I wanted something I could just slide the pad into. This was the perfect purchase for me!It has a unique system. A little dongle goes into the port of your controller, and stays there. It has these wide plates that can slide over the contacts in the dock, so you just need to drop your controller in and it'll start charging.

Comes with 2 detectable clips that basically stay permanently connected to the USB socket on the controller. These are non-intrusive, and fairly small and don't get in the way of anything.I was looking at buying 2 new USB charging cables, but that would have been just short of what this costs - so buying this made more sense!Once you finish with your console for the night, just drop the controller onto the charging station. The little clip will automatically align up with the charging pins and pesto!The front of the charging station gives a illuminated feedback as to what's happening. TLDR:+ No fuss, easy wireless charging.+ Solid and well-built.+ Small and compact.- Little indicator lights on the front of the unit cannot be turned off. Distracting at first (only if watching a movie for example) but you quickly get used to it.The included micro-USB attachments are very convenient—other similar devices require careful alignment of the controller and base station to avoid scratching the pins, but this is almost like using a wireless charging mat...just plop your controller on to the base and it begins charging. No cables, no fuss—it just works—and this trumps my little quibble about the indicator lights.Highly recommended!

One of the best accessories for PS4 controllers in my opinion. I have always charged one controller one at a time using the standard USB lead as I also use my Sony Wireless Headset, having three controllers this can be a real pain finding the battery was flat in my other controllers, with this I can now keep all of my controllers charged and it's so easy to use compared to other designs.Overall I would recommend this to any PS4 players with more than one controller, it can easily be plugged into any USB port or plug socket.

the little dongle can 'very occasionally' get in your way if you have rather big hands,but its well worth it for the convenience of just dropping the controllers into the dock when looking to charge, never an issue with connection.can be a bit fiddly when trying to remove if you ever need to plug the controller back into the PS4 for updates or syncing issues but nothing to cry about. Build quality is not exactly 'prime' but its does the job and looks quite good whilst not taking up too much self space.

Works well. The little dongles are very small so can stay on your controller while you play, meaning you can just drop the controller into the dock to charge it.Note that another reviewer mentioned the dongles are fiddly and don't always make contact. I had this due to faulty dongles, due to the contacts not being aligned straight. If you have this issue, return to Amazon for a replacement. My replacement has been working fine now without any such issues.So one star off for quality control.

great little charger so easy to use, just drop in and charge , love the little clip that comes with it to input in the controller to enable it to drop and charge without annoying alignments and adjusting like the original sony charger....charges very well and has great status lights while charging only wish it would have indicator to tell you how it has charged like the xbox version rather than the solid controller indicator...overall superb

Great price and arrived within a couple days of ordering. Really easy to use and a lot less fiddly than the official PS4 charger which I always thought the kids would break whilst trying to connect through the USB connection. Now they just drop the controller pad into the charger and the light on the front lets you know the pad is charging and goes out when it is fully charged......'Simples' as a certain Meerkat may say.

Didn't like the look of the cheap controller stands that offer up a USB connector; can't really expect an 8 year old to be plugging the controller onto the stand regularly without something snapping sooner or later!Instead this comes with ingenious adaptors that plug in to the USB connector, allowing you to just drop the controller onto the stand!

It's awesome, looks cool and works as explained: you plug a tiny little connector which runs under the controller and which allows it to sit on the dock. Only criticism: the connector is not flush with the belly of the controller and sticks up a little.

Works as advertised! Only issue is that the micro-USB things that clip onto your DualShock aren't as sturdy as they could be, but they get the job done. It's extremely convencient to drop the controller into place and have it charge.

The product works fine. Charges relatively fast and the small micro usb contact dongle is so small and unobtrusive that you forget it is there. Great for returning to gaming sessions with full controller battery

This is great - the clips fit the PS4 controllers snugly and they charge all the while resting on the cradle. It’s a stylish little thing and won’t look out of place your living room. Would recommend.

Essential purchase for all wireless controllers. The contact points could sit a bit more flush to the back of the controller, but there was no issue with being able to plug them into the controller.

I wish I knew about this before - it is so nice being able to absentmindedly set the controller down, and know it is going to charge!
