10 feet is LONG!!!!!!!! this cord is at least double to 3x the length of my PS3 cable that came with the system. I'd guess 3 times, although I didn't measure. Most of the time, I leave this cable plugged in while I play. I never have to recharge the controller.edit 1/24: this cord is less than 10 dollars shipped with a prime membership. the person who said you can get it cheaper somewhere else must not have paid the 80 dollars a year to have all shipping upgraded to 2 day shipping free without the 25 dollar minimum. I'd rather have the correct cord than take a chance on having to return it to save a few bucks. I've had this cord for about a year, and haven't had any issues. This cord/

this cable lasts for a really long time i had this exact same cable before i had a short in it that wouldn't allow my cable to charge my controllers but as long as u keep the cable plugged in the controller at all times it seems to keep it charged and it won't develop a short in the cable but over all very good it lasts up to about 4 years if you don't twist and bind it not bad at all.the reason why i give it a 4 star my first one didn't last very long probably about 3 months

It's just a simple cable, so no amazing bells or whistles. It's nice and long so finally I can sit on my couch and play games and charge the controller at the same time. Seems well built. Has a nice velcro strap that keeps things tied up while not in use. My only complaint is a minor one. The cable itself on the outside has a braided sheath that is abrasive, so it can catch on things easily. I recommend it.

This charge link is a great option for those that need/want a longer charger than what Sony provides with the PS3. For me, it reaches all spots in the room when viewing the games I play. Sony's charger put me in an awkward spot in the room to use the PS3 which caused me to try and avoid charging while playing. Also, it was a reasonably priced and had free shipping from amazon making it a good deal.

Someone said that it was slightly longer than the one that came with the PS3. I guess that depends on which PS3 as for mine it is over three times the length of the included cable. This allows me to plug in a sixaxis mid game and to continue playing from my couch.Short version...This a good quality cable, that is long enough to charge a controller while playing a game. What more can you say?

I bought this cable a while back and I have loved it. It is a full fledged usb cable. I use it for charging my PS3 controllers and also for my external HDD.Now mine has a nylon like sheathing but I bought one for my roommate and hers is just rubber(like traditional cables), so I thought that was kind of weird. Same exact packaging. Anyhow, buy this and you will likely be happy with it.

Much longer than the ridiculously short usb cable that comes with the PS3, now you can actually play games and charge your controller at a distance longer than 12 inches from the console.The attached velcro is a plus as I no longer have to worry about losing twisty ties or rubber bands (those darn things always get lost somehow). I have 2 of these. Great buy.

This cord has made a huge difference in the amount of time I have on the ps3. I no longer have to wait for the controller to charge. And I no longer have to sit too close to the tv while charging and playing. I can sit back in my favorite recliner and still play while charging. I bought one for my son and he uses his all the time also.

This charging cable for the PS3 controller is over 10 feet long! It's perfect!Especially when your playing a really good game and the controller needs to be charged.But with this you can play your games as long as you want and the controller will charge very fast!A must have for anyone who owns a PS3! Definitely worth the money!

This charge cable is wonderful. It's longer than the original one that comes with the PS3 so it allows you to sit back from your tv while charging your controller and have a complete view of your game like sitting in the back seat at the movies. If you're looking for a USB charge link then this is the one.

This cable works great with my PS3 controllers and is long enough to allow me to continue to play games with them while they charge. The Sony cables are very expensive compared to these ones, and the velcro helps keep the cables organized when they are not in use.Would highly recommend this cable.

Charges like normal, only gripe is the cord is metal banded to ensure durability. This effectivly cuts down on flexability though. So when the cord isn't in use is very much so in the way. & When in use can interupt game play some. Necissary though if all 4 of your controllers are out of battery.

I opted for this low price cable from AmazonBasics because I read many good reviews about the brand. I'm glad that I choose the right path. Why should you pay more when such robust performance is available for less than $10? The best value for money for my brand new PS3 and it's controllers.

This is a great value- does exactly what it should and for much less than other options. I wanted a cable long enough to allow me to sit on my couch while playing. This does just that. Also, the velcro strip is a nice addition- it helps keep the cable neat when not being used.

This cord has a very rigid skin for help in protecting it. it also prevents it from tangling. For wrapping it back up it has come with a velcro strap, which is very helpful. Good quality product, I would say better than the OEM Playstation cables.
