This cable allows you to use your old Nokia charger with a more modern phone like the E71. However, it won't work with all old Nokia chargers so make check which model charger you have before buying the cable. There are 2 basic types of old Nokia charger; the ACP-12X & the ACP-7x. I think the ACP-12X is sometimes referred to as a 'multivoltage charger', 'travel charger' or 'fast charger'.The ACP-12X has an output voltage of 5.7v and can charge the new phones (it can also be used in places like USA which have a lower mains voltage than UK). The cable works fine with this one.The ACP-7X only has an output voltage of 3.7v and will NOT be able to charge the new phones.

Being a loyal Nokia phone buyer i was dismayed to find the my new N80 with a different type of battery charger. I was having to drag my solitary charger with its 2mm connection with me everywhere worrying whether i would leave it behind or lose it.The fact that i had 5 or 6 old Nokia 3.5mm connection phone chargers scattered in various places which i thought were now redundant riled me somewhat. But luckily a friend of mine introduced me to this magic device which meant that rather than being redundant i could once again have 5 or 6 chargers in various places to use.Cheap and brilliant!

My new Nokia E63 takes the small nokia connection (2mm) for charging. Having had a few nokias in the past (but with the 3.5mm connection) I had a couple of spare chargers and decided this adapter would be ideal.When it arrived I connected it up but the phone did not charge. The old nokia chargers I had at home were only 25ma whereas the new chargers are 150ma.So before you order, check the power on your old chargers.

Ordered 5 items, fits to the non-nokia car charger, and the spare nokia chargers around. As others mention it may not charge the latest generation of camera/internet phones (when on anyway) as it doesn't change the output, however it would charge simpler phones and gives me an extra charge point for my works mobile. i found that the female socket fits perfectly (not loose) the male end fit slightly less well but ok.

My new Nokia 5230 phone charger had a different connector from my previous model which was a 6310i. I bought 2 of these adapters and they worked perfectly. I keep one in the car so I can still use my emergency car charger and one at work so I can use my old charger at work. The new charger that came with the phone is kept safely at home. Excellent flexibility for little cost.

I recently got a new Nokia mobile phone. It has a 2.5mm charger pin.My old one had a 3.00mm charger, and I had one for the car, so rather than buy a new in car charger , I got one of these items. Excellent , and so was the price of one penny.The good thing is this adaptor fits other Nokia mains chargers, my wife has an older style phone, so I can charge my phone anywhere.

I have so many of the older Nokia chargers that when I changed to a newer model I felt insecure with only one changer. This adapter is a fraction of the cost of another charger, and extends the useful life of all my spares (which still fit my wife's phone as well). It makes going away together a lot easier.

I ordered this through Amazon Yesterday (30th May) and received delivery at 1030 am this morning by the postman. Superb service and the adaptor itself is a really snug fit at the 3.5mm end and also where it connects to my phone. Thank you.

This adapter will convert the "old" Nokia chargers to provide a perfect upgrade for the later Nokia models with the thinner pin charging connection.No need to buy a new charger..you can use your old one with this handy portable accessory.

Works well. Very satisfying to be able to continue using existing car charger for old style Nokia phone socket with new Nokia phone. Cheap and effective. It's nice not to have to just throw the old charger in the bin and buy new.

The delivery on this was good. And the adapter was brand new and seems excellent. Basically this converts from the old style large nokia charging cable end and adapt to the use for new style small nokia phones.

Useful as you can use an old Nokia charger but expensive for what it actually is. I was advised that it was so expensive as it was a "Nokia original product, not a cheap immitation". It works fine.

There really isn't much to say about this product. Either it works or it doesn't. Mine did. Really good price and it says Nokia on it, so might be genuine. Arrived quickly. Very happy.

This does exactly what I would expect; connects my Nokia phone to a USB. It's self coiling (you get more than in the photo) and the price is very good - hardly more than the postage.

Does what it is supposed to do, may need to force it into the old charger on first use though; saves on obsolence, probably be discontinued soon as a result!
