My daughter adores Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer for her Nintendo 3DS; she got the game for Christmas but I only discovered the albums and the collectable Amiibo cards in the summer. Each album holds 100 cards (there's 100 cards to collect from each series) and the cards come in packs of 3. You use the cards by scanning them with a Nintendo NFC reader (the latest Nintendo 3DS models have one built in) and you use them to decorate the animal's house (each card shows a different animal/character from Animal Crossing). I made the mistake of buying the first 3 albums within weeks when I found them on ebay (which is obviously MEGAN expensive trying to fill all 3 albums!)

I bought this Animal Crossing-related amiibo specifically to unlock special content in the game 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons' for the Nintendo Switch. And I'm happy to say that this amiibo is both in good condition and functional.Using this amiibo in 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons' allows players to invite the character Rover to the in-game island of Photopia and pose him for photoshoots. Plus, inviting Rover to Photopia at least once unlocks his poster which can be purchased with the in-game currency of Bells (see 'Animal Crossing'). These cards are a nice addition to the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer 3DS game, there are 100 characters in this first series, with a further 3 series scheduled for release.You get 3 cards per pack, one special character and 2 regular, each pack is random so you may (definitely will) end up with duplicates. It's fun not knowing who you'll get but is infuriating after a while, the cards are quite an investment; they'd make great presents and stocking fillers though for the price.These cards are not necessary for the game though, they are totally optional, you can enjoy the game fully without purchasing a single card if you would rather.

This animal crossing amiibo works perfect in animal crossing new leaf welcome amiibo on my 3ds and it looks so good in my gaming room on the shelf its great to add these to games and I love collecting these to and I love the fact that this amiibo was £5 because usually there two or three time that price this amiibo has a good colourful and very detailed Finish and I highly recommend this for any amiibo collector or a animal crossing fan this is a great addition to the game and I’m absolutely happy with my purchase also fast dispatch and delivery with prime too

This Amiibo is great! The Amiibo it's self has a great sculpt and is a good representation of the character (Lottie) from the animal crossing series. This Amiibo can be used with Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer and Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival. Personally I'm going to be putting this Amiibo on the shelf as a display item. I used this product with the little NCF reader that goes with the 3DS. It’s incredibly adorable and worked first time. I can’t point out any faults with it at all. I used it with Animal crossing and did it all it promised. I haven’t yet used it with Happy home designer but I expect it will work just as well :) I bought a card pack series too. Didn’t realise that they were random cards and not the ones of the pictures :L but nevermind I should of known really. It’s easy enough to just buy the cards individually :)

After the demand of these cards clearly not being met by Nintendo, I think it's really responsible of the seller to only provide a 2 packs per purchase rule; thank you. I was really lucky! I got Drago in one back and the other pack contained Chrissy and Francine in the same pack! You only get two character cards plus one of the main town chanracters such as blathers and Isabel (but In this series my Isobel is wearing a spring kimono so I'm very happy!) will purchase again. Shame they go for so much.

I bought this for my wife in the hope that she'd get some of her favourite characters. I'm not going to base my review on whether she liked what she got because obviously it's random (and that would be silly), but she seemed pretty happy.The only thing stopping me from giving this purchase 5 stars is the cost. I don't dispute that these packs add a reasonable amount to the game, but the cost to collect all cards would be astronomical. Try not to get addicted to collecting them all haha :D!

Should be cheaper, I admit. However the cards work as intended and are good quality. Nice variety and always has a special card in it. Would rate 5 stars if the price was a little lower as I could not complain. Adds another dimension to New Leaf and other games here and there. Whilst the uses are minimal, it's still a fun add on piece of content. Was nice seeing Isabelle camping or using the characters through the fun mini game Desert Island.

Bought alongside the game and card reader! These cards give such a cute addition to the game! There are a few funcions to the cards - you can scan a card while in a villager's house to invite the card's character over, you can design a home for the card's character so that you can visit them any time and you can also scan them in your public buildings to let them work there.I'll definitely be buying more of these in the future! :)

Dinky in size (smaller than I expected her to be) but very cute, especially like the detailed indenting on her pink bow. The only thing I dislike that I've noticed is how the price for Celeste has gone up gradually, starting at eleven pounds then twelve and now thirteen. I think this is a bit naughty personally and likely due to the release of New Horizons and therefore, the increase in these animal crossing amiibo figures selling.

These Animal Crossing AMIIBO are great! Can't really use them for much other than decoration at the minute haha! But I'm hoping they implement AMIIBO functionality on the upcoming Switch Animal Crossing game.Even if they don't, I'd still recommend getting these for any fan of the series- they look fantastic on the shelf or in a display case. We even used them as part of our Christmas decorations last year ^_^

Fantastic 3 pack with the adorable KK. This can be used in a wide range of amiibo enabled games. My daughters use it with the WiiU on Animal Crossing Festival and also on their Animal Crossing DS games. They look great just to have as figurines but also open access to more clothes, in game character usage and other unexpected extras in the games. Good value too rather than buying seperately.

I think the figures are beautifully made and they look really great. I use them with animal crossing new leaf game on the 3ds. I was very surprised on how fast they were delivered and overall good service. I'm hoping to perhaps buy 2 more amiibo's soon for my animal crossing new leaf game. Very pleased with how they look and i'm hoping to get more of them soon.
