For context, I run about 9-12 miles per week. I wore Mizuno 18 (I think that was the version) for the last five years or so; I got a bunch when they were on clearance one day because I liked them so much. I've never worn a New Balance shoe prior to these, but have always heard great things.These shoes fit very nicely and as expected. They are comfortable when I run. They look really good. There are some weird oddities I can't quite tell if they are new features to running shoes (again, maybe I have been wearing five year old season running shoes and haven't kept up on what the new trends are) or if they are just weird poorly thought out things. First, the shoe laces are elastic and have considerable stretch to them.

These are obviously extremely well-made, well-designed shoes. I can tell that a lot of thought went into them, and I can feel them pushing my feet out to correct over-pronation. But I get hot spots on my feet when I wear them because the cushion is so firm. I usually wear a 10ee which is just big enough so that my toes don't get squished when I go downhill, but these have a really roomy toe box already so they turned out to be too big for me. If you usually buy a running shoe on the larger end of your size range to protect your toes then you might not need to go up a size with this shoe, if that makes sense. Also I have inconveniently wide feet, even at size 10, but this shoe was wide enough.

New Balance is one of my favorite brand of shoes for running. I will always have at least one pair, sometimes two on hand and ready to use. This particular Rubix V1 is now my current favorite. Extremely well designed pair of running shoes. Material quality is exceptional. Feels really good on my feet and gives me good support and during my running. Visually the shoe looks pretty nice too. Otherwise I really have no complaints with this pair of New Balance running shoes.

I really love the shoes. When I first tried them on, I thought they felt very thin and flat. However, after walking around in them all day during an extensive gardens tour, I found that they give great support and best of all, very comfortable. The back part of the shoe is thicker and has a wave-like curve toward the toes where the sole is thinner. The black and grey color is attractive and the fabric is thin enough to keep your feet cool. They are made in China.

These are nice looking and comfortable shoes. Style wise there is a lot going on with them - very design heavy. But, it is a good design and since it is a mix of blacks, appears to be almost solid black from afar.They are very comfortable and very nice to run in. Lots of cushion, plenty of air flow, and all in all a great shoe. They are extremely well made - not a bad stitch or glue overflow to be found.

New Balance is my favorite brand of running shoe and they are hard to find in my size. I wear a women’s size 12 tennis shoe. This New Balance shoe feels so good on my feet. I have Plantar Fasciitis and have to wear orthotic insoles, but the New Balance insoles that came in the shoes give my foot the support that I need.

My husband needed these to replace other (nono longer available) New Balance shoes that he loved (and wore to death). These exceed expectations. He is very pleased. The fit is great and they have more support than his old ones had when they were new.

Great running shoe. Have been wearing them for several months. Very comfortable. So far, they are maintaining great arch support. They still feel new, and I’ve been running 15 miles a week.

Normally I use a size 46. But these had to be 47. Really great pronation support if you have that kind of issue.
