Even my podiatrist likes these shoes. I'm a natural overpronator and have suffered a bit of metatarsalgia as a result of that and taut achilles. When properly done up with runner's loops, these shoes feel barely-there, and have toe boxes wide enough to wiggle the toes about, which is a good indication of how well the metatarsals will fare - too narrow, and the fibruous tissue between the bones becomes inflamed. My podiatrist was even able to slip a pair of half-length orthotics in these, which they accommodated without bulging at the instep, and held comfortably at the rear of the sole, making these trainers a natural choice for anyone who overpronates or just wants a pair of incredibly comfy trainers.

I've bought these cross trainers for quite a few years now and all have been excellent. I use a new pair for aerobic classes then, after about a year they become my gym shoes (when I suspect the cushioning may not be quite so effective). The cycle gets repeated, and the gym pair that gets pensioned off become my 'gardening/odd-job' footwear. A bit worrying that some feedback questions the poor quality, which hasn't been my experience (as yet. touch wood). The only reason I haven't given my new pair Five stars is because the new pair haven't stood the test of time yet (point of interest, my current 'gardening/odd-job' pair were purchased in October 2015, and they are still very serviceable.

My husband is very pleased with this type of fitness shoes. He's got wide feet and these shoes are a true wide fitting. He had to go half a UK size up however to get sufficient room for his toes. The UK11 Wide was a bit too small hence we use the Free return service (excellent option) and ordered a 1/2 UK size up which is 1 cm (from 29 cm to 30 cm length) longer, but this is perfect. He went for his 1st long walk this morning and did not complain of any rubbing or feet sweating upon his return. If this helps, his measurement for UK11.5 WIDE FIT is: 29,5/30 cm long. Today we have placed a second order for this model. I have spent so much time to look for the correct model for his feet!

Was looking for wide fitting high arch supporting running shoes which I'm struggling to find at a "sensible" price. SAw these (cross trainers) and decided to get them anyway for more day to day use. Slightly large at the rear so they slip a bit but otherwise like them a lot. Comfortable, smart looking, extra wide fittings available and all in all very good value.

These are great for £50, use them for basic gym shoes and walking to work occasionally.I’m a UK 9 but ordered a 10 as from experience I know NB trainers come up bit smaller.The removable insole is not that good, but with all my shoes and trainers I use a foot active sport insole, so put these in and trainers are bang on for me ?

I like the shoes. Well manufactured, good looking. The only issue is sizing. I bought many times NB shoes in my life and apart from buying them in regular shop, where I could try it, there is always a wrong sizing information advertised. Usually it is too small, but this time it is too big... Big work to do around this issue NB!

Liked the colour and fit. Leather upper. This is a width D(wide/normal). My left trainer had no eyelet for laces in top ankle areas. New balance quality control sticker but no quality control so one defective trainer. I punched one hole as that’s all I needed. I informed Amazon who were great.

I always find it difficult to find shoes to fit, having size 14 wide feet! I have been using these particular shoes for a few years and find that they fit well and give me the support I require. Also, you don't have to break the bank to purchase a pair!

My son asked for a pair of these for school after his dad saying how comfortable they are, it’s great that they offer a leather version, really comfortable and my son has a wider foot but the standard fit was still good for him

Great shoes, well made, light and comfortable and at a very good price. I usually take a size 10.5 in normal shoes but ordered size 11 as I normally do with trainers and they fit very well. I would recommend.

I was looking for trainers to work in as I am walking and on my feet for 10 hours a day, very comfortable to ware...I did have to replace the insoles to a better supportive one but happy with the shoe.

Comfortable for everything from bush walking in the Australian outback, taking my dog walking on suburban streets and getting up steep surfaces such as ladders to do handyman tasks at home

ordered a size 10.5 which was a little tight, re ordered the size 11 that would allow an insole and thick sock, excellent fit and quite comfortable, excellent delivery and return process

Very comfortable and seems it is made of a durable material.I have bought half a number bigger and it fits well so it is a bit smaller than the normal trainers

I use it for work and is very comfortable especially I work in the hospital on long shifts. I also use it for running and I love how light and comfy it is.
