Although marketed as an "Island" Whisky the Islay influence dominates this very good blend. It's not overly smokey or peaty and is a pleasure to sip neat. Well presented at a higher abv and without colourant or chill filtration this measures up well against many single malts of a similar price e.g. a Bunnahabhain Moine. Don't be put off by the fact this is a blend - it's very good and at the offer price I paid (£31) it's good value. Would buy again.
