I previously owned the plastic handled version of this grater and had been impressed by how it handled hard Parmesan cheese. The pro version is a sturdy robust copy of the plastic one featuring the same ribbon blade. My dinner has never been happier as the flakes of Parmesan rain down onto my pasta from my Microblade Pro. It turned the Parmesan cheese into mincemeat almost effortlessly. For those looking for a new grater that will make cooking easier, you don't have to look far with this. It's grate!

I love that this is easy and quick to use and to wash. I love that it's comfortable to hold at a good angle and that it has an efficient action of shaving the food on the up as well as the downward movement of the hand.I most often use it to grate raw sweet potatoes. The shavings are much easier to chew than any other type of grater I have used.I also make easy to eat coleslaw with various different vegetables.

Upgraded to the Microplane Professional range having used the plastic models for years until the frames started to crack.These stainless steel models are comfortable to use, easy to clean in the dishwasher and lighter than expected.If you're hesitating over the "add to basket" button, just do it - no regrets here.

Everything they say about microplanes is true. Sharp, easy to use and grates everything with ease including hard cheeses such as parmesan. I have a collection of the plastic rimmed graters which tend to snap, as they break I shall be replacing them with these much more sturdy ones. Thoroughly recommended.

Works very well for chocolate and quickly. Much better than the normal box grater. This will last a life time as it's all metal and not plastic. Don't bother buying cheaper looking microplane graters, buy the real thing.

This is s superb product. It is a joy to use, producing very fast, even grating. The blade guard keeps the blades and your hands safe when stored and it is remarkably easy to clean. Thoroughly recommended.

Bought to replace a plastic-handled version (blade was fine, but the handle broke). Dishwasher-safe. Looks like it will last for ever.

Perfect. Better than the domestic version which I've used for years. And it's dishwasher proof. Absolutely perfect.
