Whether you like this product or not will depend on your user case.I am a working mother who chose to breastfeed the baby until he is 12 months old. I went back to work when my baby was 6 months old. Here is when I use it:- in the morning while applying make up. At 6 months of age babies become very alert and curious of their surroundings. Breastfeeding takes longer than pumping and feeding from the bottle, as the baby pauses frequently and moves his head constantly to look at things around him. I express 250 mls over 20 minutes while getting ready for work and give him the bottle before I leave for the day.- I pump three times at work for 20 minutes, meaning I spend an hour doing it.

I don't have a medela pump, I have a Nuby Natural Touch double pump, so it was a bit of a squeeze to get the breast shields through the holes in this bra but it was worth the struggle as I'm finally hands free and able to move around/do stuff whilst pumping.I followed the sizing chart for my bra size and got the medium, which looked too small when I first looked but as it is v stretchy and designed to be a tight fit to hold the pump against my body, it is all fine. I managed to do it up without any help, which is lucky as my other half thinks this is all very hilarious and couldn't have helped due to his laughing too much!I wish I'd got this a week or two ago - pumping is so time consuming

Expressing is great, having to sit and hold the pump isn't. This bra means I can go 'hands free'.I was surprised to find it doesn't have any straps, but it isn't an issue. I bought a size small and find it just a tad tight (I'm a 30E bra size).The little hook clip at the top is a bit of a faff, but once it is in the loop the bra stays put for the zip. I can un-zip the front to nurse the one breast while the pump does it's job on the other. (While my nipple does fit through the hole at the front, my baby has a tongue tie and can't latch onto it - hence un-zipping to give her full access)If baby isn't latched to the other side, I tuck in the Medala breast shells to capture leaking milk.

I already knew how fantastic these were when I had to express 8 times a day for a year after breastfeeding didn't work out with my firstborn. I didn't discover this bra until about 4 months in, and couldn't believe how much easier it made pumping life!I'm expressing every now and then with my second child and had given my bra away to a friend so needed to get a replacement. I'm a 34E/36DD and last time used a M, which was snug but OK. This time I ordered a large purely as M wasn't in stock but I'm so glad I did - according to Medela's size chart I should very much be a M fit, but the L is more than amply tight on me so I actually think an M would feel too restrictive.

This really is amazing! It makes my very early post natal life so much easier. I can pop the batteries into the pump (6xAAA) and use this bustier and just do what I want around the house. Before I was restricted to sitting down holding the two pumps. I would say it comes up slightly small as I would normally be a medium in things, but I got a large and it’s perfect, however my pregnancy bust size is about 36DD, so this could be considered large. I really do recommend this product, it holds the pumps perfectly and is comfortable to wear. The photo of item is slightly misleading, it’s just the black bustier no straps.

This hands free bra for pumping is perfect. I am a size 18 (pre pregnancy) so my breasts are definitely in the 20/22 category now I brought the Large. This size was perfect I was worried it would be too tight but the material stretches lovely. It's a super soft material and I would love a normal bra in this material!! The box is lovely with some instructions, not that instructions are needed but with baby brain or sleep deprivation the instructions are helpful. I will definitely buy the black as well and will give as a gift for a baby shower if they decide to breast feed. Wonderful product and carefully thought out.

I purchased this item because I was double pumping everyday after three hours as adviced by the nurses because my baby was born premature. Pumping was becoming a chore and I was getting achy arms and a back ache from having to sit in one position to keep the milk flow. I used the Medela bra today for the first time and it was the best feeling ever, pumping and not having to worry about holding the pump was a good feeling, I was able to have a nice hot beverage and use my phone at the same time. Would highly recommend for anyone considering to buy this, it’s made my life so much easier and I enjoy pumping now!

Brilliant idea! Great for hand free pumping, especially when you have stuff to do, like working, it saves sitting around wasting time when you can be getting on with stuff. I was worried that my pump wouldn't fit it as I dont have the Medela, I actually have the Ardo calypso double which is brilliant. It actually fits my pump OK, I have to stretch it a bit to fit over it but it does the job and it's not like it's a going out bra. I then have one top pulled down and another top on top pulled up so your not walking around in a bra, you can literally just see the collection containers.

I type as I sit here pumping and oh how wonderful to have my hands free! I bought this as my baby won't latch after 6 weeks and I am solely expressing. The problem was finding time when my baby didn't want to be put down. This is a game changer. Only negative is that it only supports Medela or pumps where the shield can be removed, so not my travel Avent as you can't fit the shield through the opening. I'm a 38DD and the L is perfect. Nice and firm which is what is needed to hold the bottles firmly in place!Great buy, but I will also purchase a generic brand for my travel pump.

I use the Ardo Calypso breast pump and trying to squeeze the shields through the bra was impossible. I ended up pushing it from the inside out instead which is a little difficult every time BUT it is well worth it. The bra is sturdy, comfortable and feels great on my skin. I am a size 36C and bought Medium - it looked as if it was going to come up small but actually fits really snug and comfortably.I highly recommend this bra if you are using a breast pump as being able to multitask and use my hands to do other things whilst pumping is an absolute game changer.

I am a size 38FF/G and the large size only just fits, it's a bit of a squeeze. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who is a larger size (it's a shame medela don't make a bigger size!) The bra works well and makes pumping more discrete and it's so much better to pump with free hands. If you are pumping only a couple of times a day this is definitely a good option. If you are exclusively pumping there are other options that you can wear as an all-day bra which I have found to be cheaper and much more convenient.

I had to rerun mine I bought it in size Medium and I am a size small. Obviously with breastfeeding my breasts are larger so I bought a medium. This was so small it could not fit. I had to return it and buy a different make. But the idea is brilliant and I have been using the other make now since the day I got it. Only problem with this particular one is if you replace the valve on the medela pump you need to make sure the shield connects off as the hole is to small and the whole shield will not fit through it.

So glad I purchased this! Makes my life easier with two kids and allows me to pump whilst doing other things. Holds pump in place so no spills, better when standing than sitting. Ordered a Large after reading reviews, I’m a 36E and it fits perfectly, not as fitted after I drain my boobs but still stays put and holds the pump. Wish I’d found this sooner. If you keep it on when not pumping it’s not that comfortable when worn for long periods. Compatible with single and double pump.

Excellent concept and probably the best thing I've bought during maternity. Expressing can take a lot of time and busy mums know that time is short! So being hands free has made a massive difference and I can get things done & not feel overwhelmed. Agree that the stretch does loosen after a while - medala could easily design the bra to have additional hooks like regular bras for this purpose. However I didn't find it too much of a problem. Highly recommend for busy mums!

The product is good, no complaints; good quality fabric, well made and generally seems to be robust and so should last long. But I find the sizing to be incorrect. I'm now 75C, before pregnancy 70B and so bought size "S". It's very tight, especially along the top line, it's really hard to breath and also such a strong squeeze on the breast cannot not be good. It's not a changeable item so had to order a larger size. Hope size "M" will fit better!
