This is a very good every day mascara. The ball wand takes some practice and care to not poke yourself in the eye but once you conquer that it works well. This sounds self evident but the black shade is very black unlike a lot of other mascaras. It is neither too wet or too dry and it gives good length although any more than 2 coats it tends to clump also I had a few flakes on my cheeks at the end of the day - no big deal though. This mascara is very good value for money. I am usually a high end girl where make up is concerned but given that mascara in general has a three month use by date I was looking for a good one to replace my Mac Big and Bold and I don't find this one as good but at least I am not tempted to risk eye infections by keeping it longer than I should.

I loved this mascara. It is nice and rich and gives a really great effect. Makes my lashes look longer and fuller and i really like the long brush.I have not had any issues with clumping but mascara can clump in a new bottle so you need to wipe off the brush completely on the 1st use so its completely clean and then it will be fine. I use wet wipes to clean my brush at every use however. You also should wiggle and sweep your lashes to coat them evenly to avoid spider lashes and make sure you leave a good 2-3 minutes between additional layering applications. I also find that mascara is better if you keep it in a place at room temperature, if the room is too cold then you can get clumps come out of the bottle.Thhe bottle is fab,

False Lash Epic has quite a medieval looking and intimidating wand to it. I was quite surprised it applied quite lightly so you are able to build it up but it has a very intense black colour to it so don’t really need a lot of it. I did poke myself in the eye on my first attempt getting used to the wand and I found the ball part at the end of it got in the way a bit applying the mascara much more thickly but it was easy to brush through and didn’t clump at all. I didn’t find it applied much structure though so unless you have lovely curled lashes, it’s not going to create that perfect look. I did like that it didn’t leave my lashes feeling brittle though – I could touch them without them feeling crunchy.

If you have slightly shortened stubby lashes like myself and wear glasses to counteract myopia then you'll understand how important it is to have your eyes peeking out behind your lenses. I really like the brush technology that Max Factor bring to the table - the curved, elliptical brush with a spiky ball on the top really teases out even the shortest, most difficult lashes. It's a great mascara sold at an affordable price.

Not quite false lashes, but this does give length and definition without clumping and that’s all I want or expect from a mascara to be honest.Love the gold packaging too and the colour is dark and dramatic. The brush looks a bit weird but works really well. Dries quickly and the effects lasted all day, no flaking or smudging. Came off easily with normal make up remover.

This is absolutely brilliant for big dramatic lashes.The brush ensures every lash is covered, it really gets to the small corner eye lashes to deliver a “full” look.I found one coat was enough, if I added a second, like I do with most other mascara, I found it was prone to clumping.Removal took a decent eye make up remover, it was too strong for a make up wipe.

This is amazing, I normally stick to the same make mascara but thought I'll give this a go, and I am very happy I did, this does make you look like you do have false lashes, makes lashes look long and doesn't clump, the ball on the end really helps to get those lashes in towards the eyes and the bottom lashes too. I would recommend def.

This is a non waterproof mascara, but you can cry and it will not run! I use contact lenses and sometimes put them in after i have applied this product. On some occasions, i have also needed to change my lenses during the evening and liquid has run down my cheek/s, however, no Max Factor False Lash Epic Mascara, has run! Quite amazing!

Great shape, love the unique brush. I’m regularly late and never have I found a mascara as easy to apply in a moving car as this! (I’m the passenger btw, don’t advocate for doing makeup when actually driving). The make up itself is comfortable on the eye, no itchiness or flakiness later in day. My new everyday wear mascara for sure

Absolutely love this gorgeous mascara. Suited my lashes. In fact my daughter tried to get her hands on it. I’ve slways been a Dior mascara wearer. But this is so much better. You get even coverage. And your lashes look dark and so full. Absolutely perfect. And such good value for money. You really can’t fault it at all.

I bought this by mistake as I usually buy the nine waterproof version. This is very good but is very hard to remove (tried eye make up remover, cleanser, cleansing oil, make up cloth) . It lasts a long time. I do find I get slight smudges above and below my eye with this. The none waterproof one is much better for me.

A strong black mascara that is easy to apply and remains in place without flaking, smudging or running. The applicator is easy to use and the bulbous end makes it easy to coat those awkward lashes at the corners of the eye. I am now using this mascara daily and would definitely replace it once it has been used.

Excellent price, with a very nice brush to get right into the corners of the eyelashes, it does actually extend the lashes especially if you do it had instructions. It does not leave eyelash thick and clumpy like a lot of mascaras do. My daughter was so impressed I have it in order on subscribe and save..

best mascara (even compared to chanel!). yes it stays wet for a while, but this is good as it doesn't get clumpy if you keep brushing. also the wand is long because the end bit is good for defining little lashes, and the long flat part is good for grabbing a lot of your longer lashes at the same time.

My favourite mascara ever - who needs expensive designer brands when this little beauty is better than all the rest?Fantastic coverage, and a great wand and brush - i really like the little ball end which helps get to those fine outer lashes which can be a little tricky!Nothing better - I love it.
