Martin strings stay bright for a long time and they stay usable on your guitar for even longer. Of course, all strings sound fresh and resonant for a limited amount of time and then aquire a more subdued timbre, which some guitarists actually prefer because it's more balanced and less "jangly". For me, Martin gives you the best of both worlds and if you're on a budget you won't need to replace them for a long time. They don't break too easy, either. I've used strings that are three times the price, due to "nanowebbing", but found that, while they sound brighter for a bit longer, they were a false economy because they broke a lot more frequently. My go-to strings for acoustic. Great sparkle, body, energy and depth. Breathes new life into the guitar with each new change. But they also last well and are consistent too. But as ever, try a few strings and see which ones work best for you. For me these are the best mix of tone, longevity and price.

I fitted these Martin strings to my second-hand guitar and it sounds really good to my ears. However, I'm new to guitar playing and certainly not an authority on the subject. Lighter gauge strings may be easier on the fingers, but I've no experience of other types.

I usually use the Martin 10s but thought I'd give these 12s a try in my opinion they are not as good as the 10s they don't seem to ring and cut through as good as the 10s and also feel more solid to play so will be going back to the 10s again next time

Put these on my resonator guitar which I play standard style guitar, loud and bright and balanced sound across bass middle n treble, at the low cost and free post I believe these a fantastic deal, Excellent item too !

These strings sound beautiful. lts like a brand new guitar.l am extremely pleased with this product and whenever i need to change them again these are the strings that l will be purchasing.

These strings are good quality for their price, last a fairly long time and I've hardly ever had one break prematurely.

Excellent strings at a great price. I have tried other strings but keep coming back to Martins for my acoustic guitars.

These are my choice of string for my Acoustic guitars they give a perfect tone and clean sound and are hard wearing

12s GAUGE STRINGS GIVE A PLEASANT LIFT OF TONE, FROM THE USUAL 10s GAUGE, WHICH MAINLY COME AS STANDARD.
