I thought I would try these strings based on recommendation and they are really nice to play and they do sound great! What was even more amazing was the service from the seller, I ordered them on a Friday afternoon around 2pm and they arrived at 9.30 sat morning , that's the best free postage I have ever had! Well done Fair Deal Music! Will definitely use them again!

After taking some professional advice from friends, I decided to give these Hybrid Slinky strings a try on my instrument which is a Burns John Rostill Shadows bass. The improvement was amazing. I had previously used flat wound strings but they were not crisp or sharp enough and made my bass sound muddy. The transformation was amazing.

Very nice strings, sounds quality superb but, at least on my bass, they do go out of tune very quickly within the first week, I gigged on them a few days after putting them on and had to tune up midway through the set but I think this is probably pretty standard to all strings. Just be aware!

Depending what over all sound you are after these strings are great for funk.disco and soul music... easy on your fingers I find them better to play over 105 E. I play a lot ive tried nickle but these are for me and my style of playing... perfect function band strings.... give them a go.

If you're in need of bass strings and don't know what to get, then look no further. Super Slinkys will cover all you bases and once you're done with these you can decide whether or not you want lighter or heavier strings. Of course, I stuck with super slinkys as I have no complaints.

I've stuck to Ernie Ball every since I bought my first pack. I usually get the super slinkys but these have a nice rounded tone, whether playing with a pick, fingers or slap bass.Great purchase!

I purchased these strings to replace a cheap set I had on my bass before, all I can say is these provide a superb twangy tone that compliments the E strings deeper tone, would buy again.

Sound amazing! Super zingy, bright and generally perfect. Loves it! Packaged a little too much, but had no issues with delivery dates!

Sound great, and the heavier gauge is definitely a bonus. Waiting to see how long they're going to last though!

My lad put these on his Fender bass to replace the ones on it, and the sound is definitely better and tighter.
